ITINERARY Day 1 Upon arrival in London, please catch a taxi to your overnight hotel accommodation. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore London at leisure Day 2 Meet your guide at Victoria Station and then travel by coach to Belgium for an overnight stay Day 3 Continue through Germany to the Regensburg area for an overnight stay. B Day 4 Passau - To Passau, picturesquely set where the Danube is joined by the Inn and Ilz rivers. Continue to Linz, where we board our cruise ship, the MV Esmeralda for our seven-night cruise. B,D Day 5 Danube Cruise to Vienna - We sail early and cruise the Danube eastwards, passing through the wine producing area of the Wachau. From the river you see Greinburg Castle and the ruins of Kunringer Castle. Early evening arrival in Vienna. B,L,D Day 6 Vienna - Spend the whole day in Vienna. 3 Day 9 Dürnstein - We cruise to Dürnstein, regarded as the most romantic place in the Wachau. It was here that Richard the Lionheart was kept captive, imprisoned in Castle Durnstein. B,L,D Day 10 Melk - Morning cruising to Melk, where you can visit the Abbey, then onwards to Linz, arriving late this evening. B,L,D Day 11 Linz - Disembark in Linz, then head by coach to our overnight stay in the Rhine or Moselle Valley. Cabin accommodation is on two decks: main and promenade. There is a lounge with bar, restaurant and sun deck, and all the twin-bedded cabins have picture windows, shower and toilet, colour T.V. and safety deposit box. The Esmeralda has a lift between the main deck and the promenade deck, and a stair lift between the promenade deck and the sun deck. On the 14 day holiday you will stay for three nights in the Hotel Sonnschein in Niederau, Austria. The hotel is owned by the Thaler family who have been welcoming Leger guests in winter and summer for many years. They are based on airfares, schedules and tariffs at the time of printing. PASSPORT, VISA & VACCINATIONS You must familiarise yourself with any visa and health requirements that may be applicable in the countries you are visiting. You are responsible for all entry/exit health and any other documents required by laws, regulations, orders, demands or requirements of countries visited or transited. AMENDMENT FEES Should you need to alter your original reservations, there will be an automatic fee charged of $50 per amendment or transaction.
