Spectacular lighting in the form of LED s and delicate fiber optics from SCHOTT play an important role here. Bright points of light. SCHOTT LED systems emit extremely bright, consistently white light and thus allow the natural colors of the illuminated objects exhibits to glow. 10 10 Ensuring sustainability Maximum energy efficiency is essential to achieving a green museum whether it be thermal insulation, façade and roof solutions that generate electricity or lighting that saves energy. Transparent ASI THRU and opaque ASI OPAK photovoltaic modules turn the roofs and façades of museums into solar power plants. These high-performance thin-film elements thus meet the demand for cost efficiency and attractive exterior designs. Both versions are also available as insulating glass, which can reduce the need for air conditioning.
