1 Sony Combined with Tuner Accessibility Information For Section 508 October 3, 2008 Sony developed the following Summary and Detailed reports of accessibility information for select products. We hope this information will be helpful to the U.S. Government purchasers as they make purchasing decisions in light of the requirements of Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act. The following Summary Report sets forth major categories from the accessibility standards of the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board (36 CFR Part 1194) and denotes which of these standards we feel applies and, in turn, which are supported by product features. The Detailed Report delineates the specific Electronic and Information Accessibility Standards set forth in the Board s standards and explains the specific features of the Sony product that support the particular standards. This Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) addresses accessibility information for the Sony 32 (viewable area measured diagonally) used with a Sony RDR-VXD655 DVD tuner. Should the Sony be used in a different configuration, other Summary and Detailed Reports, as appropriate, could apply.
