1 CALL FOR APPLICATION N ENGLISH ABSTRACT The Italian language version of the document takes priority with regard to the exact interpretation of the rules contained within, also in case of potential disputes. DEADLINE: 30/11/2016 Call for application to award a Prize Scholarship for two outstanding students enrolled in the Second Cycle degree course in Economics and Business Administration (Economia e Gestione Aziendale) curriculum Business and Administration of the School of Economics, Management and Statistics Forlì campus. ART. 1 Subject. The University of Bologna, offers a prize scholarship to award the best students of the Degree course in Economics and Business Administration curriculum Business and Administration (School of Economics Management and Statistics Forlì campus): - One prize awarded to one student enrolled in the first year of the programme in the a.y. 2015/16; - One prize awarded to one student enrolled in the second year of the programme in the a.y. 2015/16. ART. 2 Amount. The prize scholarship amounts to 3.200,00 euros (gross of fiscal charges/taxes and tax load at the expenses of the Intuition provided for by law). The payment is made by Forlì Campus. ART. 3 - Beneficiaries. It is necessary to meet the following requirements to apply for the call for applications: - to be enrolled in the first or second year of the curriculum Business and Administration of the second cycle degree course in Economics and Business Administration of the School of Economics Management and Statistics Forlì campus - for the a.y. 2015/16; - not to have incurred in any disciplinary sanction. ART. 4 Criteria The ranking will be expressed in decreasing order, according to the total points assigned to each candidate obtained by the sum of the following partial scores: For students enrolled in the 1 st year in 2015/16: - ECTS credits points obtained using the following formula: Number of ECTS credits obtained and registered by October 30 th 2016/ number of ECTS credits established by Degree programme teaching regulation for the first year of the degree course (63 ECTS);

2 - Average grade points (weighted average) obtained by using the following formula: Student s weighted average /30 For students enrolled in the 2 nd year in 2015/16: - ECTS credits points obtained by using the following formula: Number of ECTS credits obtained and registered by October 30 th 2016/ number of ECTS credits established by Degree programme teaching regulation for the first and second years of the degree course (120 ECTS); - Average grade points (weighted average) obtained by using the following formula: Student s weighted average /30 Only the credits registered by October 30 th 2016 will be taken into consideration. Moreover, for those students who participated in an exchange programme (in particular the double degree programme) only the credits obtained at the partner university by October 30 th will be taken into consideration if registered by the deadline of the call for application. 1. If two or more students obtain the same total points, the following preference criteria will be applied, in order of priority: 2. Number of 30 with laude weighted according to the ECTS credits of the corresponding exams; 3. For students enrolled in the first year in the a.y. 2015/16 priority will be given to the student who completed all first year credits (63); in case all the candidates already completed the 63 credits, priority will be given to the student who completed them in advance; For students enrolled in the second year in the a.y. 2015/16 priority will be given to the student who altready graduated; in case all the candidates already graduated, priority will be given to the student who graduated in advance for double degree students the date of thesis defense at the partner university will be taken into consideration; 4. The younger student will have the priority. ART. 5 Incompatibility and compatibility. The present award is incompatible with the following benefits received for the academic year 2015/2016: - scholarship awards assigned by the university of Bologna based on merit only; - full university fee exemption based on merit only for the enrollment in the first year of Second Cycle degrees; - scholarships assigned by the Collegio Superiore ; - scholarships awards assigned for the enrollment in international courses; - Unibo Action 2 scholarships; - Erasmus Mundus programme Action 1 and Action 2 scholarships; - scholarships assigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; The award is compatible with the Ergo scholarships, part-time collaboration and tutorship activities.

3 PLEASE NOTE: It is possible to apply for the present award even if the candidate has already applied for one or some of the above-mentioned benefits. After the ranking, the incompatibilities will be checked and if a candidate has been awarded more than one benefit, he/she will be able to decide which one to accept. ART. 6 Application procedure To apply it is necessary to fill in and deliver the form enclosed to the present call (Att. n. 1) to the programme coordinator of the curriculum Business and Administration, Mara Donati, within November 30 th 2016 by: - hand delivered to the office (P.le della Vittoria, 15 Forlì) during the office hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday h. 9.00/12.00 Tuesday and Thursday h /16.30 or on appointment); - ordinary post/courier/postal service (also registered mail): in case of postal mailing, the application must arrive by the deadline (independently of when the application has been sent); the date of arrival will be certified by the office; - Certified PEC to ems.fo.vicepres@pec.unibo.it; - by fax to the number In case the application is sent by post, certified PEC or fax, it is necessary to attach the copy of an identity document. Applications delivered or received after the deadline or submitted different ways not specified by the Call will not be taken into account. In the application, candidates will have to declare under their own responsibility: - surname and name, date and place of birth, residence, citizenship and fiscal code; - to be enrolled in the first or second year of the curriculum BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATION of the postgraduate degree course in Economics and Business Administration (Economia e Gestione Aziendale) of the School of Economics, Management and Statistics Forlì campus of the University of Bologna, for the academic year 2015/2016; - The number of credits obtained by 30/10/2016; - The weighted average; - Not to have been incurred in disciplinary sanctions; - The institutional address for all the communications related to the present call for applications and a phone contact. Italian and EU citizens, can self-declare the academic and professional titles according to the articles 46 and 47 of the Presidency of the Republic Decree 445/2000. Non EU citizens, regularly staying and authorized to stay in Italy, must comply with the clauses 2 and 3 of the art.3 of the Presidency of the Republic Decree 445/2000. Besides the above mentioned cases, the conditions, personal qualities and facts are certified by the responsible authorities in the foreign country, together with a translation in Italian

4 authenticated by the consular Italian Authority that has to certify that it complies with the original copy, after warning the person concerned about the penal consequences related to false document production. The Administration reserves the right to check the truthfulness of the declarations. Besides the penal sanctions provided for by art. 76 of the Decree of the Presidency of the Republic 445/2000, if the administration verifies that the declaration is not true, the candidate will lose the scholarship. The personal data declared in the applications, will be treated to manage the competitive selection, according to the article 10 of the law 31/12/96 n ART. 7 Awarding The award will be awarded according to the merit ranking and paid by the Campus of Forlì ART. 8 - Acceptance The assignation of the award will be communicated exclusively by to the address indicated in the application. The winner must accept the award according to the conditions established by the call for application within 10 days from the receipt of the above mentioned and following the instructions indicated in the same , otherwise he/she loses the right to be awarded the prize. ART. 9 Publication of the rankings- Appeals The ranking will be published on the School website at the page approximately in December It is possible appeal to the temporary result to the Magnifico Rettore, Via Zamboni 33, Bologna, personally or by post (in this case the stamp of the postal office where the document has been sent will be considered), within 20 days from the publication. Appeals submitted later than this deadline will be considered invalid. After the evaluation of the appeals, and within 60 days from the deadline for the appeals, the definitive ranking will be published. ART. 10 Personal data The personal data provided with the application for the call will be treated with respect to the right to the protection of personal data and the protection of privacy and personal identity, regulated by the legislative decree of 30th June 2003 n.196. The data will be treated exclusively for the fulfillment of the acts related to the execution of the present call. The treatment will be managed with information systems and manually through paper means. The transmission of data is compulsory and possible refusal may cause the exclusion from the call.
