1 Display-It Daybed PRE-ASSEMBLY: For your safety and ease, assembly by two adults is recommended. Please read all instructions before beginning assembly. The illustrations provided allow for easier assembly when used in conjunction with the assembly instructions. Remove all parts and hardware from box and lay out on a carpeted or scratch-free work surface. The shipping box provides and ideal work surface. Do not dispose of any contents until assembly is completed to avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware. Use the parts and hardware lists to identify and separate each of the pieces included prior to starting assembly. Note: DO not fully tighten the bolts until all parts are in place. Failure to follow these instructions may cause the bolts to misalign during assembly. If using power tools to aid in assembly please use caution. Power tools can damage hardware or split wood. 2 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: 1. One person should hold the Left Side Panel (A) while the other person holds the Right Side Panel (B). Make sure the cut-outs on the side panels are facing each other. Attach each end of the Footboard (C) to the Left/Right Side Panels (A&B) by inserting the hooked ends of the Footboard (C) into the corresponding slots in the Left/Right Side Panel (A&B), as shown below. C. B. 2. Lift up the Headboard (D) and place it on the small ledges on the interior sides of the Left/Right Side Panels (A&B) and make sure the Headboard fits into the cut-outs on the Left/Right Side Panels (A&B). 3. Slide a Spring Washer (I) and a Flat Washer (J) onto an Allen Bolt (H) and insert the bolt from the back inside space of the Headboard (D), as shown below, into the insert nut locate on the Left/Right Side Panels (A&B). Repeat with the (7) remaining bolts to secure the Left/Right Side Panels (A&B) to the Headboard (D). D.

3 4. Insert (8) Shelf Supporters (L) into the pre-drilled holes inside the cubbies of the Headboard (D). Place the (2) Removable Shelves (E) on the Shelf Supporters (L), making sure the shelves are stable. E. E. 5. Place the Slat Roll (F) onto the small ledges of the Headboard (D) and Footboard (C) and loosely secure with (28) Screws (K) using a Phillips Head Screwdriver, as shown. Once all screws are in place, fully tighten. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Dust with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid the use of chemicals and harsh cleaning agents.

5 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Lay the Left and Right Bottom Boards (A) on either side of the Center Bottom Board (B) with the predrilled holes facing up, as shown in Figure 1. Attach (2) Cross Bars (C) to the Left, Right and Center Bottom Boards (A & B) by inserting the pre-attached wooden dowels on the Cross Bars (C) into the pre-drilled holes of the Left and Right Bottom Boards (A). Attach the Cross Bars (C) to the Left, Right and Center Bottom Boards (A & B) by inserting (12) Long Wood Screws (L) through the predrilled holes of each Cross Bar (C) and into the Left, Right and Center Bottom Boards (A & B). Tighten with a Phillips Head Screwdriver. Figure 1. L. B. C. 2. Turn the assembled base right side up. Insert the pre-attached wooden dowels on the ends of the Cross Bars (C) into the pre-drilled holes on the Long Side Rails (D & E), as shown in Figure 2 on the next page. Press firmly to ensure the Left and Right Bottom Boards (A) the slots of the Long Side Rails (D & E).

6 Figure 2. sit in 3. Align the pre-drilled holes on the Short Side Rails (F) with the pre-attached wooden dowels on the ends of the (2) Long Side Rails (D & E). Place a Barrel Nut (K) into the corresponding opening on the Long Side Rails (D & E). Slide a Spring Washer (I) and a Flat Washer (J) onto an Allen Bolt (H), and then insert the Allen Bolt (H) through the pre-drilled hole on the exterior face of the Short Side Rail (F) and into the Barrel Nuts (K) just inserted into the (2) Long Side Rails (D & E). Tighten the Allen Bolt (H) using the Allen Key (G), as shown in Figure 3. Repeat with the remaining (7) Allen Bolts (H). Do not fully tighten until all bolts are in place. Figure 3. K. J. I. H. G. 7 4. Turn the trundle upside down. Secure the Left, Right and Center Bottom Boards (A & B) to the Long/Short Side Rails (D, E & F) using the remaining (10) Long Wood Screws (L), as shown below. Tighten with a Phillips Head Screwdriver. Figure 4. L. 5. Align the holes of the (6) Casters (N) with the pre-drilled holes on the Left, Right and Center Bottom Boards (A & B).
