1 Ozaukee Christian Preschool Ozaukee Christian Preschool Philosophy Each child is a unique creation of God, made in His image. Learning begins by exploring, discovering, asking questions, making choices, creating solutions and actively participating in wide variety of experiences. Play is important in the development of new knowledge and skills. Meaningful experiences are created through interactive learning in one-on-one, small group and large group instruction settings. Our goal is to provide a solid foundation for academics, more skillful levels of communication and positive social interactions. Our staff is focused on making preschool a positive experience for each child. Each teacher professes Christ as Savior and demonstrates the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Through speech, actions and attitudes we are to walk as Jesus walked (1 John 2:6). The primary goal of Christian schooling is to help a child know and serve the Lord. Ozaukee Christian Preschool believes that the Bible is the infallible, authoritative Word of God. The Bible is integrated into every aspect of our daily schedule, from the way we handle social interaction to our academics. God s Word is the foundation for all that takes place in the preschool. 3 Ozaukee Christian Preschool STATEMENT OF FAITH The basis of Ozaukee Christian Preschool shall be the Word of God as interpreted by the following Statement of Faith: 1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, Word of God. 2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons--father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3. We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory. 4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God s grace and through faith alone we are saved. 5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. 7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. 8.
