1 1 Sprint International Access (Sprint Express) refers to call completion assistance for station-to-station, person-to-person, and collect calls from selected international locations for completion by a Sprint operator in the U.S. Mainland, Alaska, American Samoa, CNMI, Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and to those locations found at Service Availability. The outbound portion of those calls terminating in an international point will be assessed an additional per minute charge, as well as the appropriate per call Sprint International Access Surcharge. The Sprint operator will be reached by dialing a toll free number and all calls will be rated and billed in U.S. currency and can be billed to the customer's FONCARD, BOC Calling Card, Discover Card Value Phone, American Express Connect Plus, or billed collect. All calls, including those terminating to a toll free terminating number, will be billed the Sprint International Access (Sprint Express) first minute or less rate and an additional minute (or fraction thereof) rate with an applicable surcharge. A customer can obtain directory or general assistance from the Sprint operator (for example, U.S. area code information, time of day in U.S. cities, call rates, and/or call completion assistance). The The customer may be assessed a local call charge by the foreign telephone administration. Some public phones may require a deposit of coins to get a dial tone.
