3 Chairman of the Board Mansour Abdulaziz Al Bosaily Mansour Albdulaziz Albosaily was elected as Chairman of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited with effect from 1 st January Mansour has been with HSBC/SABB since 1990 and has held a number of key roles in SABB including General Manager for Legal Affairs and Company Secretary. In addition, Mansour is a board member in several other renowned companies in Saudi Arabia as well as participating in the respective sub-committees. He has deep knowledge of banking and regulatory matters. Mansour received his Bachelor s degree from King Saud University, Riyadh Saudi Arabia. 3

4 Chief Executive Officer & Board Member Majed Najm Majed Najm was appointed Chief Executive of HSBC Saudi Arabia (HSBC SA) Limited on 1 January 2015, having joined the HSBC SA Board in February In his current role he is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board and senior management to establish long-term goals, strategies and plans for the Company. He contributes to the strategic and financial objectives of HSBC SA whilst adhering to CMA Standards and adopting international standards as appropriate. Majed has more than two decades experience having joined The Saudi British Bank (SABB) in 1992 and held a succession of senior management positions both with The Saudi British Bank (SABB) and on secondment with the HSBC Group. His role immediately prior to his current one was as General Manager Retail Banking and Wealth Management at SABB. Prior to this he was seconded between March 2007 and August 2010 to the HSBC Group, initially as Chief Executive Officer, Bahrain and then as Head of International where he managed several countries in the MENA region. He holds a Bachelor s degree in Marketing and Management from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. 4

5 Abdulatif Al Seif Abdulatif Alseif is Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited since 15 March Abdulatif is currently serving as Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer of King Abdullah International Foundation for Humanitarian Activities. He has vast experience in management of investments and has worked in different positions for leading companies including Head of Portfolio Management of MASIC, Head of Portfolio Management of Aramco and etc. Abdulatif holds Master of Business Administration (Hons.) and Master of Arts in Economics from Boston University, MA, USA. He also holds professional qualifications of Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. 5

6 David Dew David Dew is a Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited since December He is also holding the position as Managing Director of Saudi British Bank. David is representing the foreign partner HSBC Holdings BV with vast management and financial experience gained during his service with HSBC in a number of regions. David holds Master s degree in Economics. 6

7 Georges Elhedery Georges is Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited since 15 March He is also the Regional Head of Global Banking and Markets in the Middle East and North Africa, HSBC Bank Middle East Limited. In addition Georges is a Board Member of HSBC Egypt SAE, HSBC Financial Services (Middle East) Limited and Chairman of HSBC Middle East Securities LLC. Before joining HSBC, Georges worked for Goldman Sachs, heading Exotics and Inflation Trading for EMEA. Georges holds an Engineering Degree from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and a Specialization degree in Statistics and Economics degree from ENSAE (Paris). 7

8 Hamad AlOmar Mr. Hamad AlOmar is an Independent Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited since 1st January He has previously worked with Saudi British Bank. He has held a number of key positions in Saudi British Bank including General Manager Internal Audit and General Manager Information Security and Fraud Risk. Hamad was also a member of SABB Takaful Insurance audit committee, SABB audit committee and chairman of the audit committee of Astra Food Company. Hamad holds Master s degree in mathematics from University of California. 8

9 Mohammad Al Shayea Mohammad Alshayea is an Independent Board Member since 1st January He has assumed a number of key positions in Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency including Director of Banking Inspection, General Director of Insurance Supervision and General Director of Finance Companies Supervision during the period from 2004 to In addition, Mohammad is a board member in several other renowned companies in Saudi Arabia as well as participating in their sub-committees. He has deep knowledge of banking, insurance and regulatory matters. Mohammad received his Master s degree from University of Illinois in 1998 and holds several professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CFE and CBM. He has assumed responsibilities as CEO of MEDGULF (Insurance Company) since 1st February
