No. Frontier offers all the telephone services that Verizon provided. Will my residential calling plan change? No. You will continue to have the same calling plan that you have today. Will my 911 service be affected? No. Frontier understands the importance of 911 service and will ensure that there is no interruption of 911 service during the transition. Will my residential calling features work the same way? Yes. You will continue to use the same * codes to activate and deactivate calling features that you use today. Will my residential directory listing change? We know your directory listing is important to you. Your directory listing, including your decision to employ an unlisted telephone number, will continue with Frontier as it is currently set with Verizon. Will my Lifeline Service continue? Yes. Lifeline Service is a federal program and will be maintained with no changes by Frontier as long as you meet the qualifications of the program.

2 Will Frontier honor the promotional price I received from Verizon? Yes. Frontier values your business and will continue to honor the promotional pricing originally offered by Verizon through the promotional period. Will Frontier continue to offer Vacation Service? Yes, Frontier will continue to offer Vacation Service. If you are on Vacation Service at the time of the transaction, your regular service will resume on the date that you have originally set with Verizon. Are there any changes to Federal Surcharges when customers move to Frontier on April 1st? The Federal Communications Commission allows companies to set fees and surcharges, such as the Federal Carrier Cost Recovery Surcharge and the Federal Universal Fund Surcharge, to recover national costs associated with various regulatory fees and programs. Frontier will bill the approved surcharges to recover these costs, which may differ from Verizon. For additional information on other Taxes and Surcharges, click here. Will there be any changes for application of the Federal Universal Service Fund with the transition to Frontier? The Federal Universal Fund (F-USF) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved charge for funding in support of telecommunication needs of limited-income households, schools, libraries, rural hospitals, and consumers living in high-cost service areas. Frontier, as a local service provider, contributes to the Federal Universal Service Fund. The applied F-USF Surcharge to our customer s recovers those costs associated to contributions made to the Fund. Service provider funding of the F-USF is based on a percent of Interstate service charges. Funding amounts are set by the FCC and may be adjusted on a quarterly basis. Changes of Verizon vs. Frontier for the F-USF Surcharge Verizon recovers F-USF funding of local (LEC) regulated services by charging subscribers a flat-rate charge based on service type (see chart below). Verizon Long Distance applies a percent-based F-USF surcharge for applicable interstate\international designated MRC and usage charges.

3 With the transition to Frontier, a percent-based F-USF surcharge recovery methodology shall be applied for both local (LEC) regulated and Frontier LD interstate\international designated charges. The applicable Frontier F-USF charged to our subscribers is based on the FCC quarterly established funding requirements. The new F-USF effective 4/1/16 is 17.9%. Changes in your F-USF Surcharge will be a based on your service type and applicable interstate charges and the quarterly funding recovery requirements as established by the FCC.

4 Voice Voice Features Will there be any changes to my calling or voic features? No. You will have the same calling and voic features that you have today at the same rate. All of your passwords, greetings and saved messages will remain the same and are not affected by your service moving to Frontier. What access number will I use to access my voic box? Your Voice Mail access number can be found at or, dial your telephone number, press * when you hear the greeting and enter your PIN. Will my voic passcode or PIN change? Your passcode and PIN for your voic will not change. Will my pre-programmed numbers like Speed Dial, Select Call Forwarding, VIP Alert and Selective Call Acceptance remain saved? Yes. Your Speed Dial numbers, Select Call Forwarding, Priority Call (VIP Alert) and Selective Call Acceptance numbers will all be saved and don t need to be re-entered. Will my Caller ID name and number display the same after April 1? Similar to Verizon, your Caller ID name and number will continue to have the same level of service and functionality with Frontier. Depending on where the call is originating from, sometimes you will see the customer s name and other times you will see the state name.

5 Voice Long Distance Does Frontier provide international calling plans? Yes, Frontier does provide calling plans to many countries. If you have further questions please contact Frontier to chat live or speak to a representative. Will there be changes to my long distance calling plans and related charges? You will continue to have your pre-subscribed equal access long distance carrier, if you have chosen one, and selected long distance calling plans at time of conversion to Frontier. You will be transitioned to Frontier Long Distance (Frontier Communications of America, Inc. - FCA ) if Verizon Long Distance, LLC was your service provider. With this conversion, the long distance surcharges associated with FCA shall apply as follows: Former Verizon Long Distance Surcharges Long Distance Administrative Charge : $.74 per line Carrier Cost Recovery Charge : $1.25 per line FCA Long Distance Surcharge Carrier Cost Recovery Charge : $1.99 per account What is a PIC? A PIC or Primary Interexchange Carrier refers to your preferred carrier(s) selection for your long distance service provider(s). You can select a PIC for in-state long distance service (i.e. between specific regions of the state or LATAs) and for interstate long distance service. Generally, you select a PIC when you initiate service, but you can change your PIC at any time. Some customers elect to establish a PIC freeze in order to prevent unauthorized changes to their PIC selections.

6 What does Lifting my PIC freeze mean? Customers can freeze their PIC selections to ensure their selections are not changed by an unauthorized party or other service provider without the customer s express authorization. When a PIC is changed without customer consent, it is called slamming. When the Verizon-Frontier transaction closes, all PIC freezes for California, Texas and Florida customers will be lifted as required by the FCC. California, Texas and Florida customers must reestablish their PIC freeze selections with Frontier. What if Verizon is my local, toll or long distance provider? If Verizon is your local, toll or long distance provider and you have a preferred carrier freeze on these services, the freeze will be removed in order to transition these services from Verizon to Frontier. To reestablish a freeze, you must contact your local telephone company (whether Frontier or another carrier) after the closing to order a new freeze. What if my preferred long distance carrier is someone other than Verizon? Any preferred carrier freezes you may have that do not involve services you currently receive from Verizon will not be affected by this transaction and will continue after the transition of your local service to Frontier. Can I get my PIC freeze restored? Certainly! Simply contact Frontier customer service at (Residence) and (Business) to review and confirm your selections. We can freeze your PIC selections to protect you from unauthorized changes to them. As a customer, you will be required to complete the Long Distance and Local Carrier Freeze Form to place a PIC Freeze on your account(s).
