1 Uptown Community Redevelopment Plan Update for the Pinch District & Wolf River Harbor DRAFT

2 BACKGROUND Community Redevelopment Plan for the Uptown Area was approved in 2001 Uptown study area underwent rezoning in 2001 Rezoning excluded the Wolf River Harbor area $150 million of public and private reinvestment in the Uptown area Pyramid re-use spurs need for a neighborhood master plan

3 PURPOSE AND SCOPE Purpose: To determine the needs and opportunities for community reinvestment t in the Pinch neighborhood and along the Wolf River Harbor To provide a framework for achieving orderly & sustainable community development elopment in these neighborhoods. Scope: Analyze existing conditions within the study areas Gather stakeholder input to establish goals and objectives Specify strategies to implement the community vision Implement zoning modifications
