1 47. Zlatna pirueta Zagreba 47 th Golden Spin of Zagreb An International Senior Competition for Men, Ladies, Pairs and Ice Dance organized by the December 4 7, 2014 in Zagreb, Croatia The event is part of the ISU Challenger Series 2014/ GOLDEN SPIN OF ZAGREB 1

GENERAL REGULATIONS The Golden Spin of Zagreb 2014 will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2014, the ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules Singles & Pair Skating and Ice Dance 2014 as well as all pertinent ISU Communications and valid decisions of the ISU Congress Participation in the Golden Spin of Zagreb is open to all competitors who belong to an ISU Member, Rule 109, paragraph 1, and qualify with regard to eligibility, according to Rule 102, provided their ages fall within the limits specified in Rule 108, paragraph 3. a) and they meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements in Rule 109, paragraphs 1 through 5 and ISU Communication Passports of the skaters, as well as the ISU Clearance Certificate, if applicable, must be presented at the accreditation. The Golden Spin of Zagreb is a part of the ISU Challenger Series, for all details please check the relevant ISU Communication i.e and TECHNICAL DATA All Competition Events and Official Practices will take place in Competition Arena Dom Sportova (size 58 x 28 m). Dom Sportova is an indoor, heated, artificial ice surface. Men: Short Program The prescribed elements to be skated are those listed in ISU Technical Rule Single and Pair Skating 2014, Rule 611, para 1 and 2 and the respective ISU Duration: max. 2 min., 50 sec., but may be less Free Skating In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2014, Rule 612 and the respective ISU Duration: 4 min., 30 sec., +/- 10 sec. Ladies: Short Program The prescribed elements to be skated are those listed in ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2014, Rule 611, para 1 and 2 and the respective ISU Duration: max. 2 min., 50 sec., but may be less Free Skating In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2014, Rule 612 and the respective ISU Duration: 4 min., +/- 10 sec GOLDEN SPIN OF ZAGREB 2

3 Pair Skating: Short Program The prescribed elements to be skated are those listed in ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2014, Rule 620, para 1 and 2, group for 2014/15 and the respective ISU Duration: max. 2 min., 50 sec., but may be less; Free Skating In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2014, Rule 621 and the respective ISU Duration: 4 min., 30 sec., +/- 10 sec. Ice Dance: Short Dance In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Ice Dance 2014, Rule 709. Rhythms, required elements and guidelines are those listed in ISU Communication 1857 and subsequent updates. Duration: 2 min., 50 sec., +/- 10 sec Free Dance In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Ice Dance 2014, Rule 710. The required elements to be skated are those listed in ISU Communication 1857 and subsequent updates. Duration: 4 min. +/- 10 sec. 3. ENTRIES Each ISU Member may enter one Competitor for Ladies and Men and one Dance Couple and two Pairs. ISU Members must enter Competitors and their substitutes on the official Entry Forms. 4 Entries of Team Officials Official entries of Team Leaders, Team Officials, Coaches/Choreographers, Team Medical staff etc. must be made together with the entries for Competitors and Judges. The names of such Team Officials must be listed on the official Form Composition of Delegation. This form must be sent to: ISU Secreteriat Fax: Entry Fee With the entry to the competition, the entry fee must be paid as follows: 40 Euro per single skater 60 Euro per Pairs / Ice Dance Couples The entry fee will not be refunded in case of withdrawals for any reason. Payment may be made upon the arrival at the accreditation office at the hotel Panorama. 4. JUDGES ISU Members with entries for this Competition may nominate Judges with the qualification for ISU Championships or International Competitions and their substitutes for each event in which the Members have Competitors entered, but not more than two judges in total. 5 5. MEALS, LODGING AND TRAVEL EXPENSES The Organizer will provide and cover the expenses for transport, rooms and meals for Referees and the Technical Panel. The Organizer will provide and cover the expenses for rooms and meals for Judges. The Organizer will cover the above mentioned expenses beginning with lunch on Wednesday, December 3, and ending with breakfast on Sunday, December 7, Should any Judge arrive at the Hotel before the period described above or stay for a longer period, room and meal costs will be the responsibility of the individual and respective Member and must be paid on arrival. All extra expenses will be the responsibility of the individual and their respective Member and must be paid prior to departure. 6. PRACTICE Official practices for Competitors will begin on Wednesday, December 3, The detailed schedule will be issued at the time of registration. 7. MUSIC All Competitors shall furnish competition music of excellent quality on CD or any other approved format, in accordance with Rule 343. Each program must be recorded on one track respectively on a separate disc or cassette. Competitors must provide a back-up disk for each program. The titles, composers and orchestras of the music to be used for the Short Program and Free Skating for Singles and Pairs, for the Original Dance and Free Dance for Ice Dancing and for the Exhibition, must be listed for each Competitor on the official Music Selection Form and attached to the official Entry Form for Competitors. All discs must show the Competition Event, Competitors name, Country and exact running time of the music not skating time including any starting signal and must be submitted at the time of registration. If music information is not complete and discs not provided, accreditation will not be given. 8. ARRIVAL OF PARTICIPANTS All Referees, Judges, Technical Panel and Competitors taking part in the Competition are requested to announce as soon as possible but not later than November 6, 2014 to the Organizer, on enclosed forms, the names of the airlines, flight numbers, dates and times of arrival at the Zagreb Airport Pleso, Zagreb Croatia GOLDEN SPIN OF ZAGREB 5

REGISTRATION All Event Officials, Referees, Judges, Team Leaders, Competitors and Coaches taking part in the Competition are requested to register at the 2014 Golden Spin Registration Room, located in the Hotel Panorama. All skaters will be required to present their valid passport prior to receiving accreditation. Accreditation will not be issued without presentation of a valid passport. 10. LIABILITY In accordance with Rule 119, the Organizer accepts no liability for bodily or personal injury, or for property loss or damage incurred by Competitors and Officials. Each ISU Member is expected to provide its own insurance protection. The Organizer will provide emergency medical services for all invited Officials and Competitors during the competition period. 12. ISU CHALLENGER SERIES The Golden Spin of Zagreb 2014 is part of the ISU Challenger Series in Figure Skating As a consequence of this will be conducted in accordance with additional requirements as outlined in ISU Communications 1858 and 1894 in terms of ISU World Standing Points, Minimum Total Technical Score, ISU Challenger Series Ranking, Prize Money for the final Challenger Series Ranking and officials remuneration GOLDEN SPIN OF ZAGREB 6
