ENGLISH Student s Book Three CO 2 Sun for schools ANDREW LITTLEJOHN Earth DIANA HICKS Cambridge English for Schools Book 3 There are six different Themes in the book and they are all very interesting. The themes are about mysteries, the environment, change, the news, 1 and 2. Each Theme starts with two Topic and language Units. In Theme C, for example, the first two Units are about 3 and. Students learn about the history of rock music and how people make films. While the students learn about different topics, they can also learn new language. In Unit 4, for example, students learn about natural wonders while they are learning about the passive in English. In the Out and about Units, students can meet Samantha, Rebecca, Blake, 5 and 6. They can also discuss important topics, such as if it is right to keep the things they find. There are also six Culture matters Units. They are about Britain, the United States of America, 7 and 8. The last Unit in each Theme is a 9 and Unit. Students can revise the language they learn, and also talk about how they learn. For example, in Unit 17, Exercises 4 and 5 they can talk about checking their work and about 10 in English. Book 3 is an excellent book! It is full of interesting things to do. Get it and see! Forget it! Take a look if you find it somewhere. Interesting in places. Good. Get it if you can Excellent. You should get it immediately! Around the book 1

Ask the people in your group to help you with ideas, spelling, grammar and vocabulary. Later, you can add some photographs and pictures. 2 The English you learned Work by yourself. Think for a few moments. What did you learn from your last English book? What topics did you study? Compare your ideas with your neighbour. What did you enjoy doing? What did you find difficult? What would you like to do again? Tell the class what you think.
