2 Kinder Morgan Overview Kinder Morgan is the largest midstream and the third largest energy company (based on enterprise value) in North America. - Over 84,000 miles of pipelines and 165 terminals. - Over 12,000 employees in U.S. and Canada. Kinder Morgan is the largest natural gas transporter and storage operator in the United States - Approximately 68,000 miles of pipelines. - We move approximately one-third of the natural gas consumed in the United States. Kinder Morgan is the largest independent transporter of petroleum products in the United States, transporting approximately 2.4 million barrels of product per day. Kinder Morgan is the largest transporter of carbon dioxide (CO2), transporting approximately 1.3 billion cubic feet per day. Kinder Morgan is the largest independent Terminal operator in the U.S. - Our liquids terminals store refined petroleum products, chemicals, ethanol and more, and have the capacity of 125 million barrels. - Our bulk terminals store and handle such materials as coal, petroleum coke and steel and we handle over 100 million tons per year. 2

Six bulk terminals with a combined storage capacity of over 600,000 tons. Two liquids terminals with a combined storage capacity of over 2.4 million barrels for petroleum products and ethanol. 8 Kinder Morgan in Florida Pipelines Kinder Morgan operates more than 4,250 miles of refined petroleum products and natural gas pipelines in Florida. Florida Gas Transmission Largest interstate natural gas pipeline system supplying Florida. Delivers 64% of the natural gas consumed in the state. Over 3,700 miles in Florida FGT is a 50/50 venture between Kinder Morgan and Energy Transfer Partners. Southern Nt Natural lg Gas (SNG) Pipeline 212 miles in Florida Natural gas pipeline system supplying gas from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf of Mexico to markets throughout the Southeast, including Jacksonville. Central Florida Pipeline Co. Consists of a 110 mile gasoline and ethanol pipeline, and an 85 mile products pipeline transporting diesel and jet fuel Connects ports in Tampa to Orlando. Kinder Morgan s Central Florida Pipeline Co. supplies jet fuel to Tampa Intl. Airport (i (via truck) and is the sole petroleum pipeline supplying jet fuel to Orlando Intl. Airport. 8

9 The Proposed Palmetto Pipeline Proposed 360 mile pipeline to transport gasoline, diesel and ethanol from existing Plantation Pipe Line system in Belton, South Carolina to markets in North haugusta, SC, Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL. Would provide the Jacksonville area with a reliable and constant access to petroleum products via pipeline. Estimated cost of $1 billion to construct. The Palmetto Pipeline is supported by long term commercial commitments from multiple customers. The proposed pipeline will have a design capacity of up to 167,000 barrels per day. The construction of the Palmetto Pipeline will result in an estimated $1.5 million in annual revenue to Florida taxing bodies and create an estimated 1,200 jobs. 9
