19 Crop Graphics to Reduce the Size Cropping reduces the size of the picture by removing vertical or horizontal edges. Cropping is often used to hide or trim a part of a picture, either for emphasis or to remove unwanted portions. Crop a picture or Clip Art Select the picture or Clip Art that you want to crop Go to Format Picture tab Adjust group click on Crop Do one of the following: To crop one side, drag the center cropping handle on that side inward. To crop both sides equally, press and hold OPTION while drag the center cropping handle on either side inward.
