4 Definition of TAM Source: All sources in this presentation are AASHTO s Transportation Asset Management Guide (Jan. 2011) and NCHRP 632 (2009), unless specific to CDOT or otherwise noted. Transportation Asset Management (TAM) is a strategic and systematic process of operating, maintaining, upgrading and expanding physical assets effectively throughout their life cycle. It focuses on business and engineering practices for resource allocation and utilization, with the objective of better decision making based upon quality information and well defined objectives. 4

25 Manage Edits After you Tap the Manage Edits Tab A Screen Opens telling you how many New Features have been Collected Tap the View Updates Tab and alist of Updates Appears Tap on a Feature and The Type is displayed 25
