Introduction Senior luminium Systems (SS) supplies aluminium windows, doors and facades to both commercial and residential construction markets. Service entres operate from three strategic locations enaby Main in ngland, Newport in Wales and Livingston in Scotland, all of which have ISO 9000 quality accreditation and hold product stocks plus tooling. Independently-owned, SS prides itself on providing a responsive and personal customer service with local availability and on forming long term, mutually profitable relationships with specifiers and fabricators. The mission at Senior luminium Systems is to offer high performance aluminium glazing systems to meet the needs of each project so that the fabricator is competitive and the client is totally confident. Product Portfolio SS has an extensive suite of products including shopfronts, ground floor treatments, doors (pivoted, hinged, sliding and folding), curtain wall (mid-rise and high-rise), patent glazing, commercial windows, residential windows and doors, patio doors and secondary glazing. SPW Range The SPW range of high performance windows and doors has been designed to comply with the latest thermal performance regulations: Part L in ngland and Wales, Part J in Scotland. SPW products comprise an integral polyamide thermal break. SPW 300 is a mm system designed for fixed lights, top-hung, side-hung, tilt-turn, pivot (horizontal and vertical) and overswing windows.

3 SPW 600 Overview SPW 600 is a 75mm high performance commercial window and door system that achieves U-values less than 2.2W/m 2 K to meet the very latest thermal insulation standards of the building regulations. omprising an integral polyamide thermal break, the system includes fixed lights, tophung, sidehung, tilt-turn and overswing windows, plus single/ double rebated doors. full range of mullions and transoms allows for large composite windows to be fabricated. onstruction Windows are constructed using mitred and mechanically joined corners, with support chevrons and cleats to provide for accurate alignment. Integral transoms and mullions are installed by scribing the ends and then either screw fixing or bracket fixing into the outer frames. proprietary sealant to protect against water entry is used on all metal-to-metal joints and cleat joints at assembly. Opening window frames are designed to be inserted directly into the outer frames using butt hinges or friction stays. Opening door frames are designed to be inserted directly into the outer frames using face-mounted hinges and hook locks. Performance Products have been tested in accordance with S 6375 Part 1:1989 (performance of windows and doors classification for weathertightness and guidance on selection and specification).
