7 1999: Historic loss completely eliminated Highest turnover ever recorded The historic loss of 15.4 billion frank relegated to the past. Profit : 88 million. Turnover : 2.01 billion (4% higher than recorded in 1998). An increase in turnover of 3.1% was noted in the train travel sector. Domestic rail travel rose by 1.5% and international traffic by 10.2%. Figures for freight transport were less favourable (-1.5%) million BEF of investments : million for the domestic services million for the international services.
