1 School Improvement Plan We have a School Improvement Plan (SIP) that is aimed at ensuring we not only sustain the Good judgement we received at our last Ofsted Inspection (November 2011) but build on it and move towards being judged as outstanding. We have identified objectives/targets around four key areas: Standards Quality of Teaching Behaviour and Safety Leadership and Management For each objective/target we have identified success criteria (what it will look like if we meet the objective target) and listed where we will get our evidence from. (How will we know?) We have also identified a series of time related actions for each objective/target. Our objectives are aimed at helping us to ensure our vision is realised in practice (see Vision Statement in appendix). The objectives/targets under the four key areas are detailed below. Please find a list of acronyms attached to the back of the document. (Appendix 1) 1. Standards Objective/Target: Standards are high and most children make good or better progress from their starting points Success criteria (What will it look like?) The % of pupils making expected progress are at least in line with National Averages The % of pupils making more than expected progress are close to National Averages Progress data regarding predictions for KS2 SAT outcomes Work scrutiny reports
