11 E. Researcher & Coordinator/Chair of Research Teams and Similar Activities: * 2000: Country Coordinator, Global Media Monitoring Project 2000 (GMMP 2000). This was a global research project on the participation of women in the news in the world s mass media, organized by World Association for Christian Communication (London), Media Watch Canada, and Erin Research, and conducted in 71 countries in all regions of the world. I also conducted the pre-test for the study in Nigeria in August * 2001: Chair, research team of South-East Journalism Forum. The Forum was coordinated by the Centre for Development and Civic Education (CECODEC) in collaboration with Democracy and Governance Program of the United States Embassy, Lagos.
