1 How your donations are determined for a Five Guys fundraiser. First, let us say how excited we are to be helping your organization with your fundraiser. We at Five Guys want it to be a big success for you. After all, our goal is to donate as much money as we can to your cause. Below is a breakdown of how your donations are determined: Receipt Collection Required: Coworkers or constituents must show a flyer or voucher (physcial or electronic version acceptable) at register during their ordering process. Receipts will be collected and placed into our Fundraiser Receipt Box on the counter for credit. Donation Breakdown: Your organization is guaranteed 15% of all sales collected in our Fundraiser Receipt Box during your designated fundraising day. If sales of receipts collected in our Fundraising Receipt Box exceed $400, your organization will receive 25% of all sales collected instead of 15%. For example, if sales of receipts collected in our Fundraising Receipt Box equal $300, your organization will receive $45 ($300 x 15%). But if sales of receipts collected equal $500, your organization will receive $125 ($500 x 25%). Additional Incentive: We can setup a fundraising schedule which can be monthly, quarterly, or any other time frame to help your organization reach its fundraising goal. If your organization receives over $1,250 in donations from us in a single calendar year, we will send your organization a check for an additional $250. For example, if your organization sets up 3 fundraisers and earns a $500 donation per fundraiser, your organization will earn an additional $250 for a total of $1,750 (3 x $500 plus $250). 2 How to get the most out of your Five Guys fundraiser. Let the enjoyment of burgers and fries work for your organization. Follow our best practice guidlines to get the most out of your fundraiser. We want to donate as much as we can to your cause. Here s a list of best practices to help you improve your results: Two to three weeks before the fundraiser: Distribute Flyer #1 You re Invited. Send an to coworkers or constituents telling them why, when and where. Hang poster in office, lounge area or anywhere where there us a high concentration of coworkers or constituents in and out of the organization. Ṗost a message announcing fundraiser on organization website/list server. Encourage coworkers or constituents to invite friends via Facebook and other social media the more that buy dinner at Five Guys on our night, the bigger the donation. One week before fundraiser: Distribute Flyer #2 Family Dinners into Dollars. Send reminder to coworkers or constituents. Day before fundraiser: Distribute Flyer #3 Let s Raise Some Money for Our Cause. Send reminder to coworkers or constituents. Encourage coworkers or constituents to make a Facebook post dedicated to reminding/inviting friends and family to make tomorrow night a burger night out for our cause Day of fundraiser: Go.
