THE 8-COLOR PRO PRINT HEAD: CONFIGURED FOR QUALITY AND SPEED The newly developed 8-color PRO print head is 1.28" wide and ejects the 8-color LUCIA PRO ink set from a total of 18,432 nozzles. The PRO-6000S and PRO-4000S models require only one print head (versus two with the preceding 8-color models). The new PRO print head also has 27 temperature sensors and a non-firing nozzle detection system to ensure control and precision for the highest possible print quality, without streaks from clogged nozzles that can cause misprints. The 8-color PRO print head utilizes all 12 channels in the print head obtaining optimal image quality. The key colors of, and MBK are symmetrically arranged in a mirrored layout that achieves the exact same ejection order of these four colors with each pass of the print head. This enables bi-directional printing from left to right and back again from right to left, laying down color symmetrically to produce high-quality prints faster, with fewer print head passes. 3.
