2 What is Electronic Check Recovery? Superior recovery service that is fast, effective and FREE Payliance debits the checking account of the check writer for both the face and state allowed fee 100% of face value is remitted to Client when funds are collected Client can also choose to have unrecovered items flow into our Legal network of attorneys 4/12/12 2

3 How does it work? Client s Bank forwards all returned(bounced) checks to Payliance NSF and unrecovered funds items are automatically re-presented electronically Unrecovered items flow into a Traditional Recovery program and then optionally to our Legal network for further collections Client receives 100% of recovered face value of all checks An Optional Consolidated Returns stamp to reduce bank return fees and speed up forwarding of returned checks to Payliance 4/12/12 3

4 Consolidated Returns Consolidated Returns routes returned checks electronically directly from the Federal Reserve to Payliance. This results in checks being received 4-6 days faster, and because all un-cleared items return to Payliance and not the merchant s bank, this eliminates the merchant s return fees normally charged by their bank. Instead, we charge the merchant a small $3 return fee, thereby saving them money over what their bank would normally charge. For $25, we provide the merchant with a special endorsement stamp to be used on the back of the check before deposit. How does it Work? Merchant authorizes all returned checks to be forwarded to Payliance for recovery Special endorsement stamp is purchased from us All checks are endorsed and deposited Checks that bounce at the Federal Reserve are sent directly to us Checks are entered into our system & recovery begins We debit Client for face and our $3 return item fee What is needed? Merchant agreement with the Consolidated Returns option selected Copy of a Voided check
