This product is intended to be assembled and used only as described in these instructions. WARRANTY These products are guaranteed free of defects in materials and workmanship for five full years from date of shipment. A full warranty statement is available upon request. REQUIRED TOOLS The following tools are required to assemble the Violin/Viola Storage Rack: Plastic Mallet Phillips Head Screwdriver or Phillips Head Insert Bit Variable Speed Drill (to drive hex socket screws) / ( mm) Hex Insert Bit (supplied) # Sq. 4 ASSEMBLY. Assemble the Lower Base Support. a. Insert one Wood Dowel (#6) into the Divider Panel (#). (Detail A) b. Secure the Divider Panel with a Dowel to the Rear Base Panel (#) using one " Hex Socket Lag Screw (#). (Detail A) 6 Detail A c. Pound in Insert Nuts (#) as shown in Detail B. Two on each end of the Lower Front Base Panel (#). Detail B 7 d. Attach Caster Brackets (#) to the Lower Front Base (#) with /6" ID x /"OD Washers (#7) and /" Truss Head Screws (#). (Detail C) Detail C e. Insert one Wood Dowel (#6) into the Divider Panel (#). f. Insert each longer Round Spacer (#6) into the Rear Base Panel (#). 6 g. Secure the Divider Panel with a Wood Dowel (#6) to the Lower Front Base Panel (#) and Rear Base Panel (#) using one 0 mm (") Hex Socket Lag Screw (#). (Detail D) Detail D. 5 ASSEMBLY (CONTINUED). Pound two Insert Nuts (#) into each rear corner of the End Panels (#) to make a left-hand and a right-hand side as shown. (Detail E) Detail E. Attach Caster Brackets (#) to the inside rear corners of the End Panels (#) as shown with /6" ID x /"OD Washers (#7) and /" Truss Head Screws (#). (Detail F) 7 7 Detail F

6 ASSEMBLY (CONTINUED). Assemble both the Upper and Lower Neck Supports: a. Insert the shorter Divider Pegs (#) into the Neck Support Top Panel (#) and secure with /" Sq. Drive Screws (#). (Detail G) Detail G Closest to Outside Edge places b Insert one Wood Dowel (#6) into the hole closest to the outside edge in each of the four sets of holes in the Cross Board with Pegs (#) as shown in Detail H. c. Secure the Upper Support Cross Board (#0) to the Cross Board with Pegs (#) using four 0 mm ( ) Hex Socket Lag Screws (#). (Detail H) 0 6 Detail H 6. Attach the Lower Base Support Assembly and the Lower Neck Support Assembly to the End Panels (#) using seven Hex Socket Lag Screws (#) per side. (Detail I). 7 ASSEMBLY (CONTINUED) 7. Attach the Upper Base Support Assembly and the Upper Neck Support Assembly to the End Panels (#) using seven Hex Socket Lag Screws (#) per side. (Detail J) Upper Neck Support Assembly Upper Base Support Assembly Detail J. Pound in the four Casters into the Caster Brackets. The two Locking Casters (#7) attach to the front and the two Non-locking Casters (#) attach to the back.(detail K) Detail K OPERATION Before placing instruments on the Mobile Rack, be sure the Casters are in the locked position. Unlock the Casters to move the Rack. Two people are recommended to move the Rack. Move the Rack slowly and carefully making sure the instruments stay in place during transport. 7 7
