An Indian student must no longer need to worry about getting admission in Universities, documentation, studying German language, visa processing, living in Germany etc About German Economy & Education: 1. In economically strong countries such as Germany, there is a shortage of skilled people from the EU to fill jobs at all levels. Germany for example cannot find over qualified engineers in the EU for its high tech companies. 2. Germany has a serious problem in this respect and has changed its laws in the last 2 years to attract qualified non EU individuals. And once a non EU Person has work in Germany, they qualify to live permanently there after 5 years of residence in Germany. The criteria that students should take into account when thinking about a University course in Europe are, amongst others, the following: 1. Can I get a Visa for a particular country? 2. What do I wish to study and where are the best Universities for my subject? 3. How much does the University course cost me? 4. Can I support myself financially when I study? The question that many forget to ask is what happens after I graduate. Will the country where I graduate from let me work and stay there subsequently? Due to the developments mentioned above, Germany in particular has recently become very attractive to many Indian students. There is a high Visa approval rate for well qualified students, the Universities are free of charge to those qualified to study there, Germany as the high tech centre of Europe has the best University education in the EU and Germany is one of the very few EU countries that allows graduates to stay for more than 18 months after they graduate to allow them time to find suitable employment. Once they have found employment, which given the situation in Germany is not difficult, the Graduates can stay long term, gaining permanent residence status after 5 years and a German passport after 7-8 years. 3 HURDLES FACED BY INDIAN STUDENTS: So many international students have come to see Germany as one of the most attractive countries to study in. This means that they need to face the hurdle of getting a Visa from the German Embassy to allow them to travel and study there. For an Indian student getting the documentation together and organising the Visa Process can be very difficult and many stop after a few months of research and sending applications to Universities in Germany that often does not reply. Many do not really know what is needed and how to go about organising these things. To get the Visa for Germany the German Government wants to see that you have been accepted by a German University. For an individual Indian student this can prove impossible or takes at least 3-6 months if they manage to find a University in Germany that is prepared to look at the certificates in the first place. The other obvious hurdle that needs to be passed is that in order to study at the University in Germany one needs a certain level of German language ability, which means doing a language course. This can be done in India if one can find a good language centre but to learn the language effectively and quickly there is really no better place to be than in Germany itself. The German Government therefore issues Visas that allow the students to travel to Germany, do a language course and then to move on to the University that accepts them. This package fee is inclusive of teaching material, accommodation, insurance, airport pick up and exam fee. However, if students have their own accommodation through their friends or family and if they could arrange airport pick up themselves then you could deduct both the expense from the package fee. If a student has completed any levels in India then those level would be exempted and the tuition fee could be paid only for number of weeks studied (per week ). Step 2: If the student is eligible we would inform to pay the registration/application fee of 300 and has to courier all the photocopies of documents (attested) along with the receipt of fee transfer to the following address: ISL Sprachschule (Indian Representative Office), C/O. Step 5: Once the appointment is been given by the German embassy the student has to go directly to the embassy with completely filled Deutsche bank account opening application form (but not signed) and has to sign the application form in front of the immigration officer to ensure that the applicant is the same. Step 6: The bank account process would normally take between 3 and 4 weeks. Step 7: Once the bank account is opened then Bank would send the IBAN (International Banking Account Number) to the student and then he/she has to transfer 8040 to the Deutsche bank account and they would receive the balance receipt from the bank. Step 8: Student after receiving all the following documents: Conditional Letter from University Unconditional Letter from ISL (Language School) 2 Months confirmed Accommodation Course Duration Medical Insurance (6 or 9 Months) Blocked Account (8040 Euro) They have to or call the embassy for the visa appointment Step 9: Once the visa appointment date has been fixed by the German embassy, student has to go directly and submit all the original documents mentioned above and has to face interview. Please Note: Courier Fee All Documents has to be couriered from India to Germany & offer letter and other documents required for visa has to be couriered from Germany to India.
