Please contact: 1) Fill in the registration form and send it to us with your registration fee. We have a one-off non refundable registration fee of 50 to cover administration costs. If you need a CAS registration number to apply for a Tier 4 student Visa, a 10 non-refundable fee is also required at the time of booking. This payment can be made through cash, UK bank cheque, bank transfer or online through Uni Pay (Please go to our website home page.) If paying by bank transfer, please ensure you cover any sender s charges, and send a copy of the transfer receipt for us to check with our records. Please put your name or ID number as the payment reference on the transfer notes. For non-eu citizens, we also require a clear copy of your passport and visa and proof of your English level if you are applying for a Tier 4 student visa (e.g. IELTS exam score) It is essential you provide these documents to process your application. 2) We will send you an invoice. We will send you an invoice based on length and type of course and your accommodation choice. You will then need to pay the course in full. This is fully refundable in case of visa refusal (minus any bank transfer charges). See Terms & Conditions. Otherwise it cannot be refunded. 3) We will then send you a Letter of Acceptance/Booking Confirmation of EU Students. This will have all the information you need about your course. For n-eu students you can use this to apply for a 6 month or 11 month Visitor Visa. If you are applying for a Tier 4 student visa you will also be sent your CAS number. SPONSORED STUDENTS If you are sponsored by your company, university or embassy, we can enrol you on receipt of a letter guaranteeing your fees. You must produce a copy of your financial guarantee before you start the course. NON EU STUDENT VISAS There are three types of student visa for students from outside the European Union. For further information please check the UKBA website: 6 Month Student Visitor Visa. proof of language level needed, you can study any course in the UK. 11 Month Extended Student Visitor Visa. proof of language level needed, you will have to provide financial information to UKBA showing that you have enough money to stay in the UK for 11months. You can only study an English language course in the UK. Tier 4 General Student Visa. Students need to have proof of English level via a Secure English Language Test (SELT). This visa allows students to stay long term in the UK and transfer to other schools/ in the UK at the end of the course. Some nationalities (e.g. Brazil, Japan) can ask for a Student Visitor Visa on entry to the UK If you have any further questions about the school or our courses, please do not hesitate to contact us.

5 TERMS & CONDITIONS Terms & Conditions Student Health Insurance It is a condition of registration that students have their own health and travel insurance. Cancellation insurance is also recommended. You must have proof of insurance (either an insurance card or policy) in English when you arrive at the School. It is advisable to send a copy of your health insurance with the application form. Registration and Payment Procedure All payments to Liverpool School of English must be made in Great British Pounds Sterling. All money transfer charges, if any, must be paid by you, the student/ agents acting on behalf of you. A 50 (fifty pounds sterling) non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of booking. Should a CAS registration number need issuing for a Student Visa, a 10 (ten pounds sterling) non-refundable fee is also required at the time of booking. LSE must receive a completed registration form and the registration fee in order to register you for your course. The balance of any outstanding course or accommodation fees must be received at least 4 weeks before the first day of your course. Payments should be made in one of the following ways: International Money Order or bank transfer to Liverpool School of English account as mentioned below. Cancellation fees are as follows: Cancellation more than 28 days before the start of the course: Full refund minus registration fee and any bank charges Cancellation from 28 days to 7 days before the start of the course - 50% of the total price will be refunded Cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the course - no refund Please note, for non-eu students If a visa letter/cas has been issued, no refund can be given under any circumstances without an official visa refusal letter The registration and accommodation placement fee are non-refundable. Once a course has started there will be no refunds under any circumstances. Courses are non-transferable.

6 TERMS & CONDITIONS Terms & Conditions Other There will be no reduction in the course fees if a course includes a public holiday. Please note the school closes for two weeks per year, over the Christmas and New Year period. It is your responsibility to maintain a good attendance record. Students who do not attend school for 5 consecutive days will be removed from the class register and will need to contact the school office to resume their course. LSE will inform the Home Office if a student here on a Tier 4 student visa, is absent for two weeks or more without contacting the school. Each 3 hour lesson includes a 15 minute break. LSE reserves the right to alter the timetable and/or transfer students from one class or course to another and to merge small classes or cancel courses if necessary. Visa Letters We will only issue a Visa Invitation Letter or CAS when 100% of the fees have been received or your employer/embassy has sent us confirmation of sponsorship. 12. Declaration I confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, the information given in this form is correct and complete. I have read and understood the instructions and conditions set out in this registration form. The registration fee is not refundable. Refunds made by bank transfer or credit card will incur charges to you. Refunds will be made within 21 days of receiving your Visa Refusal Letter. After a course has started, no refunds will be granted in any other circumstances. The Data Protection Act 1998 The Information you give on your application form will be used for the following purposes only: 1. To enable your application for entry to be considered. 2. To enable the institution to compile statistics, provided that no statistical information which would identify you as a person is published. 3. To enable the institution to initiate your student record. 4. May be provided to UKBA or British Council inspectors to comply with relevant checks, inspections and legislation. Dispatch Arrangements Liverpool School of English will provide scanned versions of the admissions documents by to the address provided in Section 1, or original documents sent by standard international post. If original documents must be received quickly, they can be couriered at the expense of the student.
