1 BUILD YOUR BUSINESS WITH BEACHBODY CHALLENGE GROUPS LEARNING Are you ready to increase your success and build your business with Beachbody Challenge Groups? In this lesson we ll answer your questions about Beachbody Challenge Groups, including: What are Beachbody Challenge Groups? What are the benefits of a Challenge Group for customers and Coaches? How does a Coach start a Beachbody Challenge Group? LESSON Building with Beachbody Challenge Groups Building your business with Beachbody Challenge Groups is a fun, engaging way to bring new customers and Coaches into accountability groups to help them achieve their goals. Your job is to find and support people who want to get healthy and fit by helping them achieve their goals. Beachbody Challenge Groups will help you do this. What is a Beachbody Challenge Group? A Beachbody Challenge Group is a group of people who have committed to getting healthy by participating in a Beachbody program. Through fitness, nutrition, and support, Beachbody Challenges are key in helping them achieve their goals. What are the customer benefits? Your customers benefit from being part of a small, exclusive group of people, working together to help each other achieve their fitness and health goals. They ll find motivation and friendship in their group, creating long- lasting relationships, trust, and comfort in sharing struggles and successes. And that s not all. When they take your Challenge, they ll also be joining the Beachbody Challenge contest at TeamBeachbody.com, where they can qualify to win anywhere from $500 to $100,000! What are the Coach benefits? Simplified recruiting creating customers for life. Quality enrollments developing a team of new Coaches who all started as a product of the product through your Beachbody Challenge. 1

2 Easy duplication new and seasoned Coaches can start Challenge Groups. They re easy to manage and engaging for the participants. Commissions and bonuses of $50 to $70 per Challenge Pack. How do you start a Challenge Group? There are four steps to follow to be successful with Challenge Groups, based on the Game Plan Sharing Cycle activities: Find, Invite, Share, Sponsor. Step One: Find people to take your Beachbody Challenge. Step Two: Invite people to join your Beachbody Challenge Group. Step Three: Share the Beachbody Challenge. Step Four: Sponsor people to your Beachbody Challenge Group. THE GAME PLAN SHARING CYCLE FIND Step One: Find people to take your Beachbody Challenge. Each Beachbody Challenge Group you form will be made up of people who are all committed to getting healthy. We ve found that limiting your Challenge Group to five people is most effective in creating a sense of exclusivity and camaraderie among the group. Create a list of everyone you know, including your friends, family, and social media groups. Check your phone and contacts, and your Facebook, Google+, and even LinkedIn friends. You can use the Memory Jogger for additional help expanding your list. The important thing to remember is not to judge. Write down the names of everyone you know. Remember, you won t know if they ll be interested in joining your Challenge, or if they might know someone who would be interested in joining your Challenge, until you ask them! THE GAME PLAN SHARING CYCLE INVITE Step Two: Invite people to join your Beachbody Challenge Group. You can invite people over the phone; through ; in person; and online by creating a Facebook invitation, using an ecard, or using Evite. When you send out invitations, create a sense of urgency and exclusivity about joining the group. You can do this by telling everyone that you only have room for five people in your Challenge Group. Make it clear in the invitation what the requirements are for joining the group. For example, if you re organizing a Challenge Group to complete a fitness program, tell them they ll need to purchase their own copy of a Beachbody fitness program; replace one meal a day with 2

3 Shakeology, The Healthiest Meal of the Day ; and record their progress using the SuperGym. THE GAME PLAN SHARING CYCLE SHARE Step Three: Share the Beachbody Challenge. Your invitation has piqued their interest, so now what? Share how the Beachbody Challenge will benefit them. Show them the Beachbody Challenge video (found in the video library). Give them details about your Challenge, but also share Success Stories with them and tell them you re committed to supporting them and helping them succeed. You can find tools to help you share with your prospects in the Coach Online Office under Sales and Marketing, in the Challenge Tool Kit. How Participants Benefit They don t have to do it alone. Challenge Groups are made up of people committed to completing the same workout program. Members support each other s goals and hold each other accountable through weekly group check- ins. The motivation and friendship they get from working in small groups creates lasting relationships, and trust in sharing their struggles and successes. They re eligible to win Beachbody Challenge contest prizes. When people join your Challenge, they re also signing up to take part in The Beachbody Challenge contest on TeamBeachbody.com. By logging their workouts into the SuperGym and submitting their before and after photos, they can be eligible to win $500 to $100,000, for simply making the decision to get healthy. Plus, they learn about the Coach business, and how encouraging others to join them in the Beachbody Challenge can cover the cost of their monthly Shakeology on Home Direct order each month not to mention, putting money in their pockets. Share the Beachbody Challenge Pack with them that has the workout they ll be completing. Show them what they ll receive, the benefits to being on Shakeology and in the Club, how all this supports their fitness goals, and the cost. The Challenge Packs make it easy for you to offer your Challenge members a complete package that includes a workout program, Shakeology on Home Direct, and Club membership for total support to help them achieve their goals. 4 For example, if you sell them a Pack with P90X, tell them a little about P90X and what to expect from: The90- DayChallenge Workingout6daysaweek Three strength training days, plus cardio and yoga You can also tell them how Shakeology will support their goals by providing: More energy during the day The Healthiest Meal of the Day Money- and time- saving help when you have one meal preplanned every day! Of course, the Team Beachbody Club will: Support them through Message Boards, VIP Club exclusive chat rooms, and even workout tips from Tony Horton himself Provide a meal planner to balance out their nutrition, while incorporating Shakeology into their diet Save them even more money with 10% off TeamBeachbody.com product purchases **AND they ll have the chance to win prizes by joining the Beachbody Challenge contest on TeamBeachbody.com. If someone contacts you and sounds interested, but not quite ready to commit to your Challenge, use Beachbody Sharing Tools to help them learn more about the company and our products. You can find these tools in the Coach Online Office under Sales and Marketing in the Challenge Tools Kit, under the Video Library, and in the News and Training Resources section. There, they ll find: The Beachbody Challenge video Hear from Carl Daikeler as he talks about the Beachbody Challenge. The Beachbody Solution video Learn about Beachbody fitness and nutrition products. Success Story videos See real- life examples of people getting healthy and fit using Beachbody products. Product videos Learn more about a specific fitness or nutrition product. The Shakeology: The Breakthrough video Watch the incredible Shakeology story. 100 Doctors Don t Lie video or audio Hear from 100 doctors on why they recommend Shakeology. THE GAME PLAN SHARING CYCLE SPONSOR Step 4: Sponsor people to your Beachbody Challenge Group. Now that you ve shared with your prospects and they re excited about joining the Challenge, it s time to sponsor them. 4

5 Show them where and how to sign up on your Web site so they know what to expect. Also, be sure to walk them through the steps to enter the Beachbody Challenge contest, select their Challenge Packs, and get started by creating their Team Beachbody profiles. Always maintain the sense of urgency and exclusivity about the group. Give potential members a sign- up deadline and remind them that you only have room for a few people, so they need to sign up fast. Again, we found that groups of five people are very effective. If they don t sign up in time and the spots are full, put them on a waiting list for your next group. Remember, there s more to sponsoring than just enrolling your new customers or Coaches a good sponsor commits to their success and provides ongoing support to help them reach their goals. Here are a few things you can do to be an excellent sponsor. Start the Challenge. Before the first day of your Challenge: Make sure Challenge members have received their product packs, set up their Team Beachbody profiles, and completed their fit tests. Follow up with every member, asking them for their goals and what they hope to have accomplished at the end of the Challenge. Just like you would in a new Coach s Get Started Right Interview, have everyone write down their goals to help stay on track to reaching them. Choose a system to check in with your group that helps them give support and feedback to one another. For example, you can do this by setting up a private group page on Facebook and inviting Challenge members to join. You ll use the group page to kick off the Challenge and follow up with weekly check- ins. It will become the outlet your group members use to give each other advice, support, and encouragement. Encourage your group to pick a unique name to make it easier for you to keep track of multiple Challenge groups for example, the Westlake TurboFire Challenge Group, or Fab Five RevAbs Challenge Group. This helps make the experience more fun and engaging! You can learn how to set up a Facebook profile and group page in the Facebook Help Center at facebook.com. On the first day of your Challenge: Send out encouragement to your group. You can post an encouraging message on your Facebook Challenge group page and ask your members to post how they feel going into their first workout. When workouts are complete ask members to post and let the group know they have completed that day s work, and ask them to tell the group how they feel after their workout. Encourage group members to actively participate. They can go on to the Facebook page every day and use it as their outlet to support and communicate with each other to feel engaged and supported in their Challenge. 5

6 Ongoing communication and follow- up. As your group progresses through the Challenge you ll be checking in with them once a week to answer questions, give encouragement, and identify members who would make great Team Beachbody Coaches. Signs that members may be interested in the Coach opportunity: Very active on group Facebook posting offering encouragement to others Excited and vocal about results Open to speaking with people they know about the Challenge and referring people to join them. Ready to ask about the opportunity, including how to earn money. Asking questions about what you do. Transition from customer to Coach. When you identify a member who wants to become a Coach, making the transition from customer to Coach is easy they re already a product of the product, drinking Shakeology, working out to a Beachbody fitness program, and actively participating in the Beachbody Challenge community. Now all you need to do is help them purchase the Game Plan Tools Kit, and once they re signed up as a Coach, have them engage in the Coach Training Academy right away and schedule their Get Started Right Interview. Direct them to complete all the Basics course lessons in the CTA, including this one, so they can start their own Challenges and begin building a successful business. Members of your Challenge who aren t ready to become Coaches are still a very important part of your business. Engage in continued communication with them and make them customers for life. When their Challenge is coming to an end, encourage the group to stay together to complete another fitness program as a Challenge Group. Talk to them about the next Challenge and why they need to stay committed to their new healthy lifestyles. Identify which fitness program would best fit their ongoing success and help them make their purchases. WRAP- UP Building a business with Beachbody Challenges is not only rewarding because you re directly responsible for helping people get healthy and achieve their goals, it s exciting because it s a system that s easy to duplicate within your business. Plus, you ll earn great commissions and rewards along the way! The more Challenge Groups you create and more people you help, the more benefits you ll receive. 6

Follow the Game Plan Sharing Cycle activities every day and you ll be on your way to building a successful business in no time! 7
