5 Cutting rings The DiNova ring Designed to ensure total safety and long lasting sealing, the DiNova cutting ring guarantees clean equipment and safe working conditions. This solution reduces maintenance operations and is designed for all mobile and stationary applications when used with couplings series and. Metal/metal sealing reinforced by 2 PTFE seals : the geometry of the seal cavity prevents distortion and guarantees resistance to vibration. Protection of the seal is ensured throughout assembly - it will not compress until final crimping has been achieved (egris patent). The PTFE seal material allows repeated assembly without any deterioration in performance over time. It is resistant to most aggressive fluids and to a wide range of temperatures (-40 c to +200 c). Reliable and easy assembly : a mechanical stop clearly indicates the crimp position and avoids the risk of insufficient tightening or over-tightening. afe connection : three bites ensure more precise assembly and less tube distortion, thus reinforcing the safety of connection, even in extreme conditions of use. The DiNova ring guarantees resistance to strong vibrations, thanks to an increased area of interface with the tube upon tightening and the seal position within the assembly. 21 The double-bite cutting ring The double-bite ring constitutes an excellent solution for numerous hydraulic applications and can be used with coupling series and. - Easy assembly and excellent sealing performance. - The geometry of the ring prevents distortion of the tube, if overtightened. - Thermal treatment guarantees resistance to vibrations and to shocks and enables repeated assembly without replacing the cutting ring.
