1 Section, Technical & Vocational Education and Training - SECTION - TECHNICAL & VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING In the year 2006, 68,85 youth were recruited for Technical and Vocational Training in selected public training organizations. Majority (6%) of recruitments were males. The Vocational Training Authority recruited 2,50 males and 8,56 females. More than two thousand trainees were recruited for National Certificate in English for Commerce, Industry and Further Education, National Certificate in Technology (Civil), National Certificate in Technology (Quantity Surveying) and National Certificate in Accounting Technician courses. 3 Section, Technical & Vocational Education and Training - National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority In 2006, the highest no of recruitments was recorded for the Enterprise based Craft Training. 2, of recruitments were recorded in Craft Apprentice Training at Provincial Training Centres. As shown in the table.., Male participation is higher than female participation. The highest number of recruitments in Situational training was reported in the province.
