9 Gege Adjustable Striking Plates for inside rebated doors Your problem Environmental conditions can cause tension between the door leaf and door frame which can hinder smooth operation between the mortise door lock and the striking plate. Extensive adjustments on the door are often the consequence. Our solution This problem could be solved with the innovative Gege striking plates SB-VAR. The adjustable striking plates SB.VAR compensate changes and tension on the door leaf. An inlaid part which is attached to the striking base plate with a screw can be adjusted to four different wall thicknesses at the latch. The striking plate can be quickly and easily adjusted conveniently and direct on site at the door. By loosening the screw that holds the adjustment plate on the body, the striking plate can be turned horizontally and vertically to select the appropriate wall thickness. Note: Gege Striking Plate SB.VAR are best suited for use with Gege mortise door locks. The function is therefore only guaranteed when used with Gege mortise door locks series 121 and 101.
