1 The Young Adult Ministry (Ages 18-35) Mission: LOL is designed to serve and develop young adults to grow and mature spiritually throughout their relationship with God as young men and women in their single life, married life, student life and/or family life. As a result they will be educated and strengthened in the different areas of their lives, as they follow Christ. Vision: LOL envisions that Young Adults will understand the will of God for their lives and begin to lead a life that will bring glory to Him. LOL will provide fellowship, spiritual growth and genuine ministry. LOL will be proactive in serving the church and the community. LOL will exercise love, honor and humility in every area of their lives. LOL Core Team Roles Visionary Lead: Ensure that the direction of LOL is aligned with the direction of the church as a whole and is seamlessly integrated with the other ministries of the church when necessary Observes the needs of the body and collaborates with the remainder of the LOL Core Team to make sure the needs are met with spiritual wisdom

2 Function as the main point of contact for the ministry Administrator and Admin Team (2-3 people) Communicates (alongside the Visionary) to the LOL Core Team and the other ministry heads Schedules meetings and calendar requests for all ministry events Ensures fiscal responsibility according to the approved ministry budget Updates and maintains current young adult rosters Event Coordinating Team (+4 people) Delegates roles for specific events (ie. childcare services, compliance to budget, hospitality, etc.) Collaborates with Visionary and Administrator to ensure that our programs are aligned with the educational cycle Event Team Tasks: Event coordinator - delegates roles for specific events (ie. childcare services, compliance to budget, hospitality, etc.) Follows up internally poll attendees to see how the event went Ensure that facility & calendar request has been submitted Call team men & women willing to call young adults and remind them about an upcoming event Childcare the Life on Life ministry partners with the marriage ministry and other ministries to provide childcare for their events and they, in return, provide childcare for our events. This is separate from regular Sunday / Wednesday nursery workers. Event Communications Writing correspondence about upcoming events Designing a PowerPoint announcement for Sunday / Wednesday Posting to the Life on Life Facebook Page Developing/Designing print & marketing materials as needed Manning event registration tables in church foyer Food Team Identifies menu for events Ensures necessary utensils are secured for event

3 Logistics Team Servers during event Shopping prior to the event Hospitality Welcome / greeters for events name badges Setup / clean up of food area Game / Event logistics team Develop flow of event Identify icebreaker / group game Identify other activities Time keeper Photographer DJ / Background music coordinator Coordinates and implements event set-up and breakdown Submits facility requests for all meetings and events Set up (5 to 6 people) The set up team gathers all the equipment needed for a specific event set up and is in charge of making sure that anything that is needed for event is done by the deadline of that event. Break down (5 to 6 people) The break down team gathers all the equipment that was used during the event and is responsible for putting those things back in their original spots by the appointed deadline. Maintenance Men (3 people) The Maintenance team oversees the entire church building by making sure that all rooms are kept nice and neat, which involves cleaning up any messes left in a room or even making sure that each room has tissues and napkins. Also, the maintenance crew is responsible for making sure that each restroom has the appropriate amount of toilet paper, paper towels and that all toilets or urinals are working properly and are cleaned. Floater (3) The floater is usually the one who transitions through all of these positions assisting those who need assistance. The floater must know the responsibilities and the duties for each

4 position and must also know the proper set up and break down for each event. The floater oversees the other positions and works with the team to make sure each task is complete. Youth Mentorship Team (+4 people) Connect mature young adults with the youth in the regeneration ministry Identifies opportunities for LOL to collaborate/serve the youth ministry Facilitates the transition from ReGeneration to LOL InReach/ Outreach Team In-reach (+3 people) Coordinate Care and Comfort alongside Executive Pastor Assist with connecting young adult new members with other members of the body Outreach (+2 people) Identify opportunities for young adults to serve alongside the Missions and Mercy Ministry Areas that LOL Serves at CBF Children s Ministry/ Vacation Bible School Serve the children as teachers and/or assistants in the classroom alongside the children s ministry. Help and serve the children as teachers and/or assistants during Vacation Bible School week. The Middle Ministry Serve the middle school aged kids and students as teachers and/assistants. This group is in between the children s ministry and the youth ministry. Nursery (Sunday Morning/Wednesday Night services) (+5 people) Serve as caretakers in the nursery and children s ministry for parents/guardians during service, meetings, classes, and events. AWANA Serve alongside the children s ministry in AWANA, as a teacher, assistant, and special guest.

5 Understanding Your New Life/ Kids New Life Class Serve as teachers and/or assistants in the Understanding Your New Life class. Serve as teachers and/or assistants in the Kids New Life class. Messengers (Deaf Ministry) Serves within the Messengers Deaf Ministry, ministering to those who are deaf and vocally impaired.
