6 Discover Tavernware Picture wooden tables, metal tankards and platters, the flickering firelight of the Catamount Tavern of Bennington s colonial past. Our tribute to this past is Tavernware. The warm tawny glaze, hand rubbed in spots, reveals highlights of a deep mahogany clay body, suggesting the soft worn appeal of antique treasures.
