3 e-mada Overview e-mada Overview e-mada Overview e-mada downloads Virgin Blue and Jetstar web bookings by interpreting the Booking Confirmation screen from the Virgin Blue and Jetstar websites and increases efficiencies in workflow. The result once a user clicks Add Booking is a Tramada Booking Profile, Agent Itinerary and Agent Costing. Tramada will then facilitate a user completing the Financial Transaction/s required to complete the Booking. Example. If paid by CCCF and the Agency has enabled the Debtor Setup Options of Domestic CCCF Auto Invoice and CCCF Auto Invoice Delivery upon download of the e-mada booking a CCCF Receipt and Invoice will be raised, posted to the Ledger and the Invoice will be auto ed using the principles of the above Debtor flags. Remember an Agency must have completed all subscription and setup processes before a Consultant can download web bookings into Tramada. The e-mada Billing Report analyses the number of web bookings, which have been downloaded using the e-mada feature and enables an Agency to analyses e-mada data and audit the e-mada billing sent to the Agency. This report is accessible from Agency Reporting > e-mada Billing Report TRG e-mada August 2009

4 e-mada Link e-mada Link e-mada Link Overview e-mada Link enables an Agency to set-up the Internet Browser link, which is used to faciliate the download process. Note. If you are a Windows XP user with Service Pack 2 installed follow the Service Pack 2 e-mada link procedure. e-mada Link Procedure 1. From Support Menu click e-mada Link. A list of instructions will display, which will further assist a user in the set-up process. 2. Click the e-mada Link. 3. If you receive the Security Alert prompt and wish to continue the set-up process click Yes. 4. Click the Links folder and click OK. The e-mada Link will now display on the Internet Browser. 5 e-mada Link e-mada Link Windows XP/Service Pack 2 Procedure 1. If you are a Windows XP user with Service Pack 2 installed you will need to add your Tramada Server URL as a trusted site before e-mada Link installation can be completed. 2. From your Internet Browser click Tools > Internet Options. 3. Click the Security Tab > Trusted sites icon > Sites button. 4. Enter your Tramada Server URL into the Add this Web Site to the zone field and click Add then OK TRG e-mada August 2009

7 e-mada Link e-mada Link Displaying Links on the Internet Browser If Links doesn t display, a user can click View > Toolbars > Links. If Links is Links will now be visible. If Links do not display a user may need to unlock the Toolbar by clicking View > Toolbars > Lock the Toolbars. Note. 8 e-mada File Maintenance Tasks e-mada Location Translator e-mada Location Translator e-mada Location Translator enables Tramada to translate, match and print the Airport Name onto a Client Itinerary. This needs to be maintained from e-mada Location Translator, as Virgin Blue and Jetstar do not use the IATA three-letter airport codes as are used in the CRS E.g. Avalon in Melbourne doesn t appear in this table. e-mada Description: Name used on the Virgin Blue or Jetstar website. Airport Code: The CRS three-letter code used in the translating of the e-mada to the airport code. Airport Name: Once the e-mada description has been translated into the Airport Code the corresponding Airport name is matched, which becomes the printable Airport Name on a Client Itinerary. Airline Class Translators Airline Class Translators enables Tramada to translate the booked or airline class into a generic class. Example. L class is equal to Y class and known as Fair Fare. Note. If the translation doesn t match the web confirmation class translation a mismatch will occur and render the system default class of Y TRG e-mada August 2009

9 e-mada Procedure e-mada Procedure 1. From Virgin Blue s or Jetstar s Agent website create the web booking. 2. If the booking already exists click the view button of a current booking that is not yet flown. Note. Only bookings created within 10 days will download with the correct Issue Date. For bookings created earlier than 10 days the Issue Date will default to the following year. 3. From the Passenger Confirmation window click the e- mada link TRG e-mada August 2009

10 e-mada Procedure e-mada Bookings Procedure Continued 4. If payment is made by CCCF (Credit Card), enter the Credit Card Number, Expiry Month and Year then click Continue. Note. Ensure the correct Credit Card details are entered, which are used to create both the CCCF Receipt and is recorded in Tramada Reporting. If the Credit Card Number is not correctly completed xxxx s will download into Tramada. 5. If successful the response Your Booking has been processed with PNR xxxxxx will display. Take note of your Booking Number. 6. From Tramada s Client Profile click Add Booking and select the Booking Number from the PNR Address drop down. Click Select PNR. If a user doesn t Add Booking within the same working day the booking will purge. 7. (W) is indicative of a web booking and not a CRS booking. Complete the Booking Profile and click Save Booking. Watch Point!! Multiple e-mada bookings can be added to a Booking Profile and will allow one GDS Booking, however must attach the GDS Booking first TRG e-mada August 2009

Viewing Web Bookings from the Airline s Website: When retrieving an existing Virgin Blue or Jetstar web booking from the airline s website ensure you click View and not Edit before downloading into Tramada. Credit Card Payment: If a booking is being paid for by Credit Card ensure you enter the correct Credit Card Number other wise Credit Card Number xxx will download onto Tramada s Passenger Receipt. Purged Bookings: If a booking has been downloaded using e-mada but a Consultant doesn t Select the PNR the booking will purge at the end of the day. A user will need to repeat the e-mada process to download. Multiple Passengers: If a booking contains multiple passengers Tramada will divide the total value by the number of passengers to create the Air Costings. As the airline provides one central document number Tramada will append a unique, incremental digit to the document number. Issue Date: The Issue Date appended to the document number will reflect the Confirmation page s date. If however the download occurs 10 days after creation of the booking the system will append the following year to the Issue Date. (W): All e-mada bookings downloaded from the Virgin Blue or Jetstar website are labelled with a (w), which displays next to the PNR Address in Tramada. This indicates the source of the Booking as a downloaded web booking. Re-Issues If a ticket is reissued online and / or a fee or additional collection is applied to the fare e-mada will update the original Costing with the new fare. This occurs as the airline reuses the original document/ticket number. Note. The receipt for additional payment will only display separately if a different payment method of different credit card number to the original payment is used TRG e-mada August 2009

Only one GDS Booking can be attached to a Booking Profile, however can have multiple e-mada bookings to a Booking Profile and will allow one GDS Booking. (Maximum 50 e-mada bookings) Tip!
