15 Support provided: Service targets hot spots around the borough, encouraging and motivating street users to seek treatment for their substance misuse issues, referring and accompanying to agencies or into treatment. Service works with local criminal justice, drug misuse and other relevant agencies, provides harm reduction advice on the streets, as well as advice on housing, benefits, health, hygiene, alcohol and drug use. Target group: those aged 18 and above, primarily problematic drug users but also others experiencing issues around drug or alcohol misuse. Working in partnership with the wider drug and alcohol treatment provider network.
