Macdougalls Soaps Australia was established in 1986 by the Macdougall family and is a wholly owned division of True Blue Chemicals. We quickly developed a reputation for making high quality soap products at competitive prices by supplying quality tablet soaps to the Consumer, Industrial and Institutional markets across Australia and overseas. To this day, Macdougalls Soaps Australia remains a 100% privately owned corporation, and as a family in business, we aim to be recognised as making a worthwhile contribution to the community, environment, the Australian economy and all stakeholders associated with our business. 4 ABOUT US Australian manufactured soaps using premium ingredients. Macdougalls Soaps Australia is a wholly owned division of True Blue Chemicals which is a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of quality, innovative cleaning and hygiene solutions. We are proudly Australian owned and operated, and employ over 60 people at our manufacturing site in Caringbah New South Wales and have a sales staff throughout Australia. Founded in 1986 we have been in business for over 28 years. We are one of Australia's leading contract soap manufacturers, having produced quality products for some of the country's biggest name brands. Our facility is ISO9001 certified, and is a proud participant in industry bodies such as ACCORD Australasia, the peak national industry association representing the hygiene, cosmetics and specialty products industry. Our customer base extends throughout Australia and reaches into overseas markets, so we understand the requirements of operating within the domestic and export marketplace. 5 MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES Located in Southern Sydney, our manufacturing facility produces over 9.6 million cakes of soap each year, making us a vibrant and energetic contributor to the Australian manufacturing landscape. We are one of only a handful of manufacturers still producing soap in Australia. Our Italian commissioned soap machine uses a four step milling process which involves mixing, milling and double extrusion of the soap noodles to produce smooth, and consistent billets that last longer without splitting. We use premium materials to ensure that our customers and the end user are happy with the results. 6 CONTRACT MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES With an excellent reputation for making quality soap and responsive service, we can develop a formulation to meet your specific needs, can work with you to produce and pack your own soap formulas or we can re-brand one of our existing range. Re-branded or custom made to order We can tailor make formulations, pack sizes, colours and shapes to suit your specific needs based on minimum production batches. We pride ourselves on striving to reduce our impact on the environment, and can also produce environmentally responsible options. Formulas We can contract manufacture our formulas with the customer s choice of shape and size, or alternatively can contract manufacture your formulas with your choice of shape and size. Packaging We can pack soap products into a variety of packaging formats, including boxes, pleat wrapped, gift packs, flow-wrap, paper wrap or loose. Packaging can also be done singularly or in bulk, shrink-wrapped or in individual cartons, inners and shippers. Shapes and sizes Our soaps billets and tablets come in the following sizes: 15g, 75g, 100g, 125g, 200g, 500g. We also have over 50 different dyes to produce a variety of shapes from squares, to rounds, to novelty shapes. From the sweet light fragrance of the native wattle to the rich earthy scent of Kakadu bush plum, the Auscentials soap range captures a slice of Australia. In creating the Auscentials soap range, we source the finest array of native plant fragrances which reflect the wide variety of scents found in Australia. From dry desert landscapes to tropical rainforests, sandy white beaches, mountain terrain and rolling grasslands, Australian plant life is abundant and has adapted over time to environmental needs, resulting in a scent that is definitively Australian. The Auscentials soap range offers a uniquely Australian experience in fragrance, as well as exceptional cleaning ability for hands and body. GOLDEN WATTLE National floral emblem of Australia, the Wattle flowers in spring have a sweet and spicy fragrance with hints of pine freshness. EUCALYPTUS & LEMON MYRTLE A blend of crisp citrus and eucalyptus for an invigorating and refreshing cleanse. KAKADU PLUM & WATTLE The sweet and fruity fragrance of Kakadu plum and Wattle holds a lingering warmth to the fragrance. NATIVE CRANBERRY A rich fruity mix of apple and jasmine, Native Cranberry offers a richness of floral fragrance. LILLY PILLY A luxurious scent of summer, Lilly Pilly combines a subtle mix of fir needle and rosewood. RAINFOREST With a combination of tropical fruits with fresh green undertones, our Rainforest soap leaves a lingering woody after note. OCEANVIEW Where desert meets the sea, our Oceanview soap exudes a salty citrus-lime fragrance. SNOWY MOUNTAIN FRESH With notes of Red Boronia, Snowy Mountain Fresh gives an earthy, fresh and fragrant clean. 8 MACDOUGALLS SOAP RANGE Our unique range of natural vegetable soaps containing palm oil, palm kernel oil, glycerine and naturally inspired fragrances. ALOE VERA The calming properties of aloe vera make this soap a wonderful indulgence on sunburnt or irritated skin. AVOCADO & LIME The skin calming properties of avocado and lime in a lovely scented soap. Always a family favourite! COCONUT A creamy soap containing the great fragrance of coconut. 9 GOATS MILK & LANOLIN RANGE Macdougalls goats milk soap is a pure vegetable soap tablet derived from natural palm and palm kernel oils, combined with goats milk, glycerine and naturally inspired fragrances. Ever mindful of environmental sustainability, we source our palm oil from suppliers that are RSPO members (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil). RSPO is committed to ensuring a supply chain that is ethical and ensures an environmentally sustainable palm oil industry. Goats milk has long been included in traditional soaps and body lotions for its moisturising ability, and goats milk soap provides both deep cleaning and replenishment of natural skin oils. This gentle soap is ideal for people that have sensitive or dry skin and are looking for a gentle alternative. Goats milk contains proteins, amino acids and vitamin A to help nourish the skin. Goats milk also contains lactic acid, which helps to exfoliate, cleanse and soften the skin. Goats milk has a ph that is extremely close to our own skin s ph, making it very gentle and safe on sensitive skin, including baby s skin. GOATS MILK Derived from natural palm kernel and palm oil. 10 HOUSEHOLD & INDUSTRIAL SOAP Hard working hands need a powerful cleansing bar that works to remove soils, grease and dirt, whilst being gentle enough to use on hands and body every day. We stock a wide range of soaps ready for your business. Our standard soap range uses the best quality ingredients and are available either direct from us under our branding, or yours, or through our distribution network within Australia or overseas. We have a wide range of shapes and sizes. PUMICE SOAP A traditional formulation of coconut soap with natural pumice sand. Highly effective in removing grease, soil and grime. PURE LAUNDRY SOAP Hand washing personal laundry garments has never been easier with our Pure Laundry soap. A traditional laundry cake based soap with iconic yellow colouring. WORK SOAP Abrasive industrial tablet soap. Removes petroleum based grease and oil, paint, ink, glue, etc without damaging the skin. GUEST SOAP A cosmetic mix of fragrant oil, skin conditioners and emollients which replenish natural skin oils. Floral fragrance. ONYX SOAP Economically priced tablet soap ideal for hand washing or for use in the shower or bath. Fresh cologne fragrance. OATMEAL SOAP With real added oatmeal for gentle skin exfoliation this soap cleans and invigorates. SOAP DYES We have an extensive range of dye shapes and sizes to provide you with exactly the type of soap mould you require to satisfy your customer needs.
