The following tests may be performed on body fluid specimens at ANMC: Albumin, Amylase, Cell Count and Differential, Cholesterol, Creatinine, Glucose, LDH, Total Protein, and Triglycerides. Sample processing (fluid chemistry tests): Aliquot into Li-Heparin tube, mix well, centrifuge and then send supernatant for all tests except Cell Count and Culture. Sample processing (Cell Count and Diff): Aliquot into purple-top EDTA tube, mix well, do not centrifuge. Chemistry/Hepatitis (Panel Tests) Acute Hepatitis Panel (HAV IgM, HBV Room Temp: 2 Hr Core IgM, HBV Surface Ag, HCV Ab) Basic Metabolic Panel (Na, K, Cl, Glu, Refrigerated (2-8C): 7D CO2, BUN, Creat, Ca, GFR) Refrigerated Plasma (2-8C): 3D Chronic Hepatitis Screen (HAV Ab, HBV Core Ab, HBV Surface Ab, HCV Ab) Diabetes Chem Panel (Glu, Trig, Chol, HDL, LDL, Chol:HDL Ratio, AST, ALT, BUN, Creat, GFR, Na, K, Cl, CO2, Ca) ANMC Lab Test Requirements Updated 11/12/15 Key: Room Temp (20-25 C), Refrigerated (2-8 C), (-15 to -25 C), Hr (Hours), D (Days), W (Weeks), Mo (Months), Yr (Years).
