2 All our large cakes traditional and modern are made by skilled bakers with years of experience using traditional techniques with a hint of modern flair. Many of our customer favourites such as Yule logs, Christmas puddings & and rich fruit cake are made from recipes handed down throughout the Warings family and capture the essence of Christmas past.. 1.NOVELTY FESTIVE SPONGE For 2013 our novelty festive sponge is an adorable polar bear made from our popular sponge filled with jam and cream then hand decorated and boxed suitable for any table or as a gift CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION SPONGE Moist Genoese sponge sandwiched together with vanilla cream & jam to create a luxurious deep filled cake, soft iced and hand decorated with a modern Christmas tree design Traditional Yule Log Our light & fluffy chocolate swiss roll is filled with imitation cream and then flooded with chocolate. Rich Fruit Chrismas Cakes Imagine a richly fruited cake made to our traditional recipe, covered in pure ground almond marzipan, coated with soft icing and decorated with a traditional Christmas scene. 3 1. CHRISTMAS PUDDINGS The finest finish to any Christmas dinner! The uncompromising taste that comes from fresh apples, oranges & lemons helped on their way with a glug of the famous black stuff and a dash of rum to produce what can only be describe as Christmas in a bowl. These puddings can be steamed or microwaved. Small (400gms) 6.50 Large (900gms) FESTIVE HALO CAKE A firm favourite and back by popular demand. A classic moist fruited sponge with all the flavours of Christmas, flooded with white fondant icing and finished with seasonal decoration before being gift boxed and hand tied CHOC N ORANGE HALO CAKE A divine chocolate sponge infused with orange flavor and generously flooded with a chocolate fondant icing. This loaf provides an intense flavour bursting with cherries, currants, sultanas and almonds that is purely continental Mini Viennese Selection Boxes A selection of melt in the mouth Viennese biscuits in four designs. 4 IDIVIDUAL TREATS Indulge in one of our tasty individual treats for that little bit of Christmas spirit or simply buy a selection and share with friends. Our range this year includes, festive cup cakes in 3 designs, snowman cups, ginger oat reindeers, our signature rum truffles, shortbread characters and customer favourite Viennese tree dipped in chocolate. From 90p MINCE PIES You might be able to get mince pies all year round, but not these. Our mince pies are only available for a limited period during the festive season, crammed full of fruity mincemeat and topped with either our delicious slow baked Viennese or traditional melt in the mouth shortcrust. These mince pies are definitely for the connoisseur. (suitable for vegetarians) 80p each Box of six 3.80 (saving 1.00) BREAD As always we ll be baking through the night to produce the freshest possible bread & rolls for you at Christmas. As it s a busy time of year and demand for our delicious artisan bread will be high, it s worth ordering your bread in advance for collection on Christmas Eve. This will ensure you have everything you need for a great Christmas. Don t forget we ll be taking a break over the festive period so make sure you order enough to see you through.

5 ORDER EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT You may place your Christmas order for Bread and Cakes with any of our branches as early as 18th November, Any produce ordered for 23rd & 24th December must be paid for at the time the order is placed. LAST ORDER DATES Cakes & Puddings Saturday 7th December Bread-1pm Tuesday 17th December Orders can be placed in person at any one of our six branches or via the telephone. All of our products are also available for purchase from any branch right up until Christmas Eve.
