1 Mark O. Dietrich, CPA, ABV CURRICULUM VITAE Experience Mark Dietrich serves as Of Counsel to the Business Valuation and Litigation Support Group at Meyers, Harrison & Pia, LLC, a firm specializing in business valuation, economic damages, and litigation support services. Mr. Dietrich specializes in matters involving healthcare valuation and litigation. He has been involved in more than 350 valuation engagements in the healthcare industry, many on behalf of nonprofit hospital clients. Mr. Dietrich s career experience includes serving as partner-in-charge of the annual audit of an 80 physician tax-exempt faculty group practice affiliated with a major teaching hospital, representation of tax exempt and taxable entities in Internal Revenue Service field audits, and participation in the development of a 250 physician Network (now part of a major teaching hospital s delivery system) and negotiation of their managed care and Medicare Advantage contracts. He has also served as an expert in qui tam proceedings involving the healthcare industry. He has an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare payment and regulatory environment, including such arcane matters as physician billing codes and the impact of the antitrust law on provider payment rates.
