2 Tour information TOUR A-01 INFORMATION Hotel Blue House (pass by) - Gyeongbok Palace National Folklore Museum - Insadong Antique Shop Alley - Hotel Blue House Official residence of the president is called "The Blue House".The symbol of the Blue House, which is at the center of Korean politics, is the blue tiles. The first thing that catches your eye when you arrive at the Blue House is also the blue tiles of the main building. The blue tiles and the smooth roof are in beautiful harmony with Mt. Bugaksan behind it. Gyeongbokgung Palace Gyeonbokgung Palace is a palace erected during the reign of king Taejo, founder of the Joseon Dynasty( ) which was the final kingdom in Korea, but it was destroyed in the Japanese invasion of It was reconstructed in It has 4 gates including the southern main gate, Gwanghwamum. National Folk Museum The National Folk Museum is located on the compound of Gyeongbok palace. It shows you the traditional life of both the ordinary people and aristocracy. It has exhibits from all parts of Korea. There ae displays of traditional farming methods, hunting, weaving, cooking and other house keeping chores. Insa-dong Authentically decorated tea houses serving an intriguing array of traditional teas, high-end antique galleries and delicious and innovation restaurants in Seoul are all found here, Insa-dong is a favorite stop for tourists who know that this is the place to find a perfect gift to take back home.

3 TOUR A-02 INFORMATION Hotel Namsan Hanok Village - Seoul Tower - Namdaemun Market - Hotel Seoul N Tower Located at the top of Mt, Namsan in the heart of Seoul, Seoul Tower is a 240-meter tall tower completed in 1975, Often regarded as Asia's most beautiful tower, this tower is also where you can get the most exciting night view of Seoul, the dramatic light shows made by skyscrapers, inner city highways and the long bridges of Han river. NamSan Hanok Village The power and dignity of Korean houses, or hanok, are available for view in the heart of Seoul at the Namsangol Hanok Village. Located less than a block away from Chungmuro subway station, the Village is host to a garden, several cultural properties and magnificent views of the area. Several traditional festivals ae held on the grounds throughout the year, creating a festive mood during the holidays. Namdaemun Market Namdaemun Market is the largest one in Seoul and shoppers may get any product in Korea at the cheapest price at here. Moreover it`s near from the center of Seoul, passengers can easily access to the major hotels even at night.

4 TOUR B-01 INFORMATION Hotel Gwanghawmun square Changdeok Palace Bukchon Hanok Village Dinner - Hotel On August 1st, 2009, the redesigned Gwanghwamun Square opened to the public. With the inauguration of the square, Sejong-ro, located at the center of the 600-year-old historic city of Seoul, was transformed into a human-centered space that harmonizes with the beautiful scenery of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukaksan Mountain. The close to 20,000 m2 Gwanghwamun Square is located at the center of Sejong-ro which connects Gwanghwamun Gate and Cheonggye Square. Changdeok-gung The best preserved of the five palaces of the Joseon Dyansty, the compound has been designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Originally an auxiliary palace, but since Songjon( ), it became virtually the main palace as kings came to live there. Bukchon Folk Village Bukchon Hanok Village was once a village of aristocrats long ago, and its luxury tile-roofed houses called giwas have been preserved since the Joseon Dynasty. Located in the middle of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and Jongmyo, Bukchon Hanok Village boasts 600 years of history in the region. The preserved village sits between two large palaces in the traditional hanok regions where the eggplant-shaped streets show the 600-year-old beauty of the city. Now, the village operates as a place where visitors come to experience the ambiance of the Joseon Dynasty, offering a cultural center and hanok-style restaurants.

5 TOUR B-02 INFORMATION Hotel Cheonggye Steam - The War memorial of Korea - Han river cruise - Hotel Han River Cruise There are 7 leisure boats operating at each ferry of Jamsil, Ttukseom, Yeouido, Yanghwa and Nanji(Samgam) for various combinations of cruising routes. Cheonggyecheon The Cheonggyecheon used to be a naturally formed stream before the Joseon Dynasty designated Seoul as its capital. It was used for women gathered along the stream, bringing a load of clothes to wash and cauldrons to boil the clothes, and children playing in the stream. During the Japanese colonial period, the Cheonggyecheon went through some changes different from those made in the past. The Cheonggyecheon was filled up with trash, ground and sand swept from the bare mountains and severely contaminated with wastes from shabby makeshift houses built alongside. After the Korean War (1950~1953), even more people swarmed into Seoul to find their way and make their living and settled down along the stream. It appeared that the handiest way to put an end to the multitude of shabby, makeshift houses and the dirty smell was to cover up the stream with concrete. Finally, the work to cover it up with concrete started as quickly as possible by August 1958, with the 136m section near Gwangtonggyo completed in 1955 ahead of the remaining sections. In

6 addition, a 5.6 km-long, 16 m-wide elevated highway extending from Gwanggyo to Majangdong was completed over the stream in August 1971 after four working years. Thus, all makeshift houses along the stream were demolished, freeing the place for some modern commercial buildings.then, in the 1980s and 1990s, it came to be regarded as a source of intense traffic, health and environmental issues. Finaly, Seoul city dicided for recover the stream and now it becomes an oasis of the city, Seoul. The War memorial of Korea The War Memorial of Korea is the live educational center of Korean contemporary history to have a correct understanding of vivid history which have been safeguarded the free democracy including the meaning of Korean War which was the most tragic war in history.
