1 Press Release For Immediate Release Contacts for further information: 13 February, 2014 Atul Sodhi, Chairman, APLMA tel: +(852) Janet Field, Managing Director, APLMA tel: +(852) APLMA names winners of 3 rd Asia Pacific Syndicated Loan Awards HONG KONG, 13 February, 2014: The Asia Pacific Loan Market Association ("APLMA"), the trade association for the syndicated loan market in the Asia Pacific region, hosted its 3 rd Asia Pacific Syndicated Loan Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 12 February, 2014 at the Hong Kong Football Club. Over 220 senior market practitioners attended including global heads of loan syndication from Asia, Europe and the US as well as representatives from the Loan Market Association (LMA) in London and the Loan Syndications & Trading Association (LSTA) in New York. The APLMA Syndicated Loan Awards are the first Awards that could be deemed to be truly judged by the market, offering a level playing field for key market practitioners to have their deals recognised by their peers based on merit alone. Unlike other Awards, there is no pitching. Members decide who they want to vote for based on their own discretionary criteria. Banks and law firms cannot vote for themselves but can vote for deals in which they participated. The APLMA does not release details of the winners until the Awards Dinner, so none of the attendees know in advance if they have won. 5 About the APLMA The APLMA is the pan-asian trade association that is dedicated to promoting growth and liquidity in the primary and secondary loan markets regionally. The APLMA represents the common interests of the many different institutions active in the syndicated loan markets of the Asia Pacific region.
