1 What is Zinio? Through this service you may view digital copies of popular magazines on your computer and/or mobile devices. While this is typically a service that individuals would pay for, your library offers it to you for FREE! Let s Get Started! 1. Type your Name, and a Secure Password: 1

2 Browse Magazine Titles Browsing for magazines is simple! Titles can be located through two types of searches: 6. Genre Search 7. Title Search Checkout Magazine Titles 8. Once you have located a title that you would like to view, click on the cover of the magazine 9. All available magazine issues will appear, including Current and Back. Checkout the issue of your choice by clicking on the appropriate Checkout button. Past edi ons, click to checkout 2

3 View Magazine Titles Zinio magazines may be viewed on your personal computer both online (using a Web Browser) and offline using the Zinio App on your tablet or smart phone. 1. Click the Start Reading button 2. A new screen will appear, asking you to Sign In. Fill in your Address and Password. 3. Once logged in, Zinio will direct you to your cart which is currently empty. In order to locate the item you just checked out, click on YOUR LIBRARY : 4. YOUR READING LIST will appear. In it, you will see every magazine that you have checked out. Click on the magazine cover that you would like to view. 5. 4 What is indieflix? This service allows you to watch Independent Films on your computer (or other Internet-enabled devices) through FREE streaming. It s even possible to view these films on your television if you have a Roku, Xbox or Apple TV. Quick Facts: 1. View films from major festivals all over the world including: Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, etc. 2. Viewing films on IndieFlix directly supports the filmmakers who made them. Let s Get Started! 1. 5 Browse Independent Films Browsing for films is simple! Browse the Channels When you click on the Channels icon, you will see a list of categories based on genre, film festival and some additional topics. Most are self-explanatory. Browse All Films When you click on the All Films icon, every available film will show up. You may narrow down your search by time/duration, genre and intended audience. You may further sort your results by Most Viewed, Top Rated or Recently Added. Browse via a specific Search If you re looking for a specific title, actor or director, click the Search icon and type it in! Browse with Discover Click on the Discover icon for a unique assortment of films and blog posts that will inspire you to think outside of the box and see things from a new perspective. 5

6 View Independent Films Viewing chosen films is beyond simple! 1. Select a film by clicking on the thumbnail picture for it. 2. You will be redirected to a full record for that film that looks like this: View the film by clicking on the play button. Not sure if you want to watch the film? Check out the trailer. You want to watch the film, but don t have time now? Add it to your queue! MyFlix This is your personal IndieFlix account. Any films that you have added to your queue end up here! 6
