2 Premise Over the last 20 years, Saipem has designed and executed >10 Bn of EPC projectsin the Russian Federation Demonstrating the ability to develop and build "mega" projects, in compliance with Russian Regulations, utilizinglocalcompanies and in cooperation with Russian Partners Nord Stream inaugurated in 2012 ahead of schedule The Russian market is complex Generalizations are not possible, each major project has its own numerous challenges 2
