Offers gender specific, trauma sensitive program for women, pregnant women, and women with children who are recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Support services include individual and group counseling, abuse counseling, smoke cessation and prevention, and linkage to community resources. Eligibility: Women in need of alcohol, tobacco, and/or drug treatment. Hours: Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm. Intake Process: Telephone for enrollment information. Fees: Sliding fee scale. Broad Street Presbyterian Church 760 East Broad Street Columbus, OH (614) Service Description: Offers a choice food pantry. Limited supplies of diapers may be available. Eligibility: Households living in zip codes 43203, 43205, 43209, and are eligible to receive food assistance one time each month. Other Franklin County residents are eligible to receive food once each calendar year. There are also Farm Markets offered for all Franklin Country residents in the summer. See for specific dates. Broad Street United Methodist Church 501 East Broad Street (614) Ext. 101 Administrative MANNA CAFE Service Description: Offers a sit-down evening meal on Wednesday evenings. Evening meals are available most Mon, Tue and Thu in collaboration with The Open Shelter. Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. Wednesday 6 pm-6:45 pm. Doors open at 4:30 pm.

Clients can receive food twice per month. Eligibility: Must live in the following zip codes: 43110, 43112, Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri 1 pm-3 pm. Second and fourth Wednesdays 4 pm-6 pm. Intake Process: Telephone. Callers should leave a voic with their name, phone number and date they will be at the pantry. Clients should then visit the pantry on that date. Christian Center Gahanna 298 South Rocky Fork Drive Columbus, OH (614) Administrative Service Description: Provides a 3-5 day supply of emergency food. Those within the primary zip codes may visit once a month; all other zip codes may visit once every 3 months. Eligibility: Services mainly zip codes 43230, 43219, or Hours: 2 nd and 3 rd Saturday 9 am-11 am. First come, first served. Documents: Proof of address and ID for everyone in the household. Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center 14 West Lakeview Avenue Columbus, OH (614) Administrative FAMILY SERVICES CHOICE FOOD PANTRY Service Description: Offers 3 to 10 day supply per month. Can meet special dietary needs such as low sodium, diabetic and religious dietary restrictions. Formula and baby foods available. Eligibility: Those who live in the zip codes 43214, 43220, and parts of (east to I-71, west to Olentangy River, south to Hudson Street, north to Worthington). The newspaper addresses issues surrounding homelessness. Employs low-income individuals to sell the newspaper. Eligibility: Anyone Hours: Mon-Fri 10 am-2 pm. Intake Process: Telephone. Fees: $1 per copy. $25 for an annual subscription. Service Description: Offers a comprehensive, pocket size guide of services and agencies for homeless individuals in Central Ohio. Hours: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm. Intake Process: Visit the website to download. Church and Community Development for All People 946 South Parsons Avenue Columbus, OH (614) Administrative United Methodist Free Store Service Description: Provides clothing and household items to families in need. Hours: Tue, Thu, Sat 10 am-1 pm. Wednesday 1 pm-4 pm. Friday 3 pm-6 pm. Doors lock 30 minutes before closing. Telephone. Service Description: Offers breakfast and dinner on a weekly basis. Serves up to 40 people a day. Eligibility: Must live in zip codes 43016, 43065, 43081, 43085, or Each household can be served twice per month. Residents must be below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Hours: Mon, Sat 10 am-noon. Wednesdays 4 pm-6 pm. Documents: New clients must provide ID for every member of the household. Photo ID (drivers license or state ID) for adults. Birth certificates, Social Security cards or school IDs for children. Proof of current address (lease or utility bills delivered by the United States Post Office). Clients already registered with the pantry are expected to provide a photo ID and proof of address with every visit. The first people will be served, depending on the amount of food. Documents: Proof of address and ID. Acceptable forms of ID include drivers license, state ID, health card or Social Security card. Proof of family size. Service Description: Offers a daily hot meal to community members. Maryhaven Collaborative Outreach Team is on-site Thursdays in the winter to provide triage to homeless residents. Hours: Mon-Fri 10:30 am-noon. There is a dress code. Guests should make sure skirts/shorts are worn to the knee. All shirts must have sleeves. Homeless Families Foundation 651 West Broad Street (614) Administrative Service Description: Assists client families through linkage to supportive services, housing options, mental health services, substance abuse, pregnancy support, domestic violence, parenting and nutrition support, employment assistance, referrals for education, setting goals, individual budgeting counseling for families and the Dowd Education Center after school and summer programs. Eligibility: Homeless families with children who are assigned to Homeless Families Foundation through the central intake at the YWCA Family Center. Hours: Mon-Thu 8:30 am-5 pm. Fri 8:30 am-3 pm. 11 Page 11 of 37 Service Description: Provides assistance in finding permanent housing and extensive holistic case management for homeless children and their families. Assistance for deposits, rent and sometimes utilities are subsidized for a short time to help stabilize the families in their new homes. When needed, Homeless Families Foundation also provides necessary furniture, dishes, pots and pans, towels and toiletries, cleaning supplies and a starter food basket. Eligibility: Homeless families with minor children. Hours: Mon-Thu 8:30 am-5 pm. Fri 8:30 am-3 pm. Intake Process: Telephone. Referral required by YWCA Family Shelter. Documents: Completed referral. Huckleberry House 1421 Hamlet Street Columbus, OH (614) Administrative (614) hour hotline (614) Fax CRISIS PROGRAM Service Description: Offers 24-hour crisis intervention services for teens. Provides a 24-hour crisis shelter and crisis hotline. Offers counseling services for youth who have run away from home, or are thinking of running. Counselors work with teens and their families to provide crisis intervention and to develop communication and understanding. Average length of stay is 3-5 days with a plan of reconciliation in place. Eligibility: Adolescents years old. Hours: Mon-Sun 24 hours. Intake Process: Telephone. Walk-in. Notes: Also works with parents who are concerned about their children. Service Description: Helps homeless teens learn how to live safely and successfully in the community. Youth are assigned a Community Support Provider, Independent Living Mentor, and Counselor who assist youth to reach their goals. The Transitional Living Team teaches independent living skills while providing mental health support and secure living arrangements. Eligibility: Teens age years of age who are homeless and experiencing mental health issues. Hours: Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm. Intake Process: Telephone. Notes: Teens participating must meet specific expectations such as meeting with a Counselor, going to school, or having a job. Guardian consent is necessary for participation with the program.

LifeCare Alliance Groceries to Go Food Pantry 670 Harmon Avenue Columbus, OH (614) Administrative Number Service Description: Groceries are available for pick-up and delivery. Food and personal care items are available, including cereal, milk, cheese, meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, toilet paper, personal hygiene supplies, cleaning supplies and condoms. Eligibility: Women returning from Ohio's prison system who have attended the Rachel's House study inside the prison for six consecutive weeks. Hours: Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm. Intake Process: Telephone. Proof of income. HUNGER OUTREACH SOUP KITCHEN Service Description: Provides lunch and articles of clothing to those in need. Optional worship service before the meal. Hours: Fridays noon-2 pm. National Runaway Safeline 3080 North Lincoln Avenue Chicago, IL (773) Administrative Service Description: Operates a comprehensive crisis call center to handle calls from homeless and runaway youth and their families. Maintains a database of providers that includes all the federally funded runaway and homeless youth programs. Also offers qualified runaway and homeless youth a free bus ticket to safety and messaging and conferencing services to facilitate communication between family members. Hours: Mon-Sun 24 hours. Homeless emergency kits are provided to individuals who are homeless. Also offers blood pressure screenings and diabetes screenings on certain days. Eligibility: Must reside in zip codes 43201, or Clients may visit the pantry twice per month to receive a three-day supply of food. Hours: 1st-19th of every month: Mon, Wed, Fri 9 am-11:45 am. 20th-end of every month: Mon-Fri 9 am-11:45 am. Telephone for information about blood pressure and diabetes screenings. Services include food provided by Panera bread, housing search assistance, clothing and help completing paperwork for government and social services programs. Also acts as a cooling/warming shelter. Offers meals, clothing, hygiene items, access to shower and laundry facilities, use of telephone and computers to search for housing and employment, therapy and case management, linkage to community resources and opportunities for positive social engagement. Includes one-onone and group peer support, recreational activities and other programs. Eligibility: Individuals 18 and over living with mental illness, addiction issues or trauma. Eligibility: Girls who are victims of human trafficking. Intake Process: Telephone. Referrals are also accepted by law enforcement agencies and social service agencies. Fees: A client's income is divided into the following: 50% into the client's savings account, 25% to cover program costs and 25% for expendable income. Those who receive food stamps are expected to contribute a percentage of their income.
