3 Your Account Pop-up Sign In Box To sign in to your account, click the Sign In link at the top of the page and enter your User ID and Password into the pop-up box. Select Remember my sign in information so the site will remember you. After signing in, you will have instant access to your Personal List, Order Status and Order History. Also, any messages for your account will be shown in the top navigation bar. Order Status View the status of any orders placed, both online and offline within the last six months. Item History View and re-order items purchased online within the past two years. Order History Order History helps you quickly find and reorder items from online orders placed in the last two years. View previously purchased items in a gallery or list format. Sort orders by date, total cost and more, or search for orders containing specific item numbers. To allow others to access your Order History, check the appropriate box on the Account Defaults page in Your Account. Personal Lists Purchase more efficiently by creating lists of items you order frequently. Then you can add, remove and sort products with just one click. Plus, you can share your Personal Lists with others on your account to make ordering and reordering even easier. Personal Information This section allows you to: Change your contact information Change your Log In options, User ID, password and personal question Update Grainger marketing preferences, opt out/in of Change payment information or shipping addresses Account Administration View the online status and rights for all current users on your account. Full Rights Users also have the ability to edit user information on the account. Account Defaults Full Rights Users can establish helpful settings and activate special features for your account. See the Ordering tab in this guide for more details. Order Management System Set spend and approval limits for any user on your account. Edit and route online orders, up to four people on your account, for approval, denial or forwarding. details of a pending order to anyone registered on your account. 4 HOW TO SET UP A PERSONAL LIST : Log on to Grainger.com Search for the products you want to add to your list Click on Add to Personal List from the Item Details page Now you re ready to manage your list Learn more online at

5 Personal Lists Your Personal Lists are a timesaving and convenient way to place additional orders with just a few clicks. How to Get Here To access your Personal Lists, just sign in from anywhere on the site and click Personal Lists from the top navigation bar. Creating a List To create a Personal List, sign in, select the items you would like and click Add to Personal List. Then type a name for your list and click Add to List. This will bring up your new Personal List. As you order or search, click Add to Personal List to add additional items. Copy & Paste You can add lists of items directly to a Personal List with Copy & Paste function. After you click on the Create New Personal List button, you ll find a Copy & Paste area where you can paste lists of items copied from a purchasing system, spreadsheet, or word processing document. Lists of items should include quantities and Grainger Item numbers. Managing Your Lists Keeping your Personal Lists up-to-date can save you time! You can add or delete entries, sort lists, combine lists, create new titles whatever you like. Creating separate lists for categories like Tools or Maintenance makes ordering easier than ever. Personal Lists View a Specific Personal List Sharing Your Lists Need to have someone else place an order from one of your Personal Lists? For each Personal List you wish to share, click the corresponding Shared List checkbox on the left side of the page. When you have finished making your selections, click Update Shared Lists button. The selected lists will immediately be available to other users on the account. Ordering from Your List Bring up the list you want to order from, click the box next to the items you wish to order, update the quantity and click Add to Order. 7 Item Details Item Details The Item Details page gives you full product descriptions, including manufacturer information, pricing and shipping information, technical specifications and required/optional accessories. Item Details Unit of Measure Ship Quantity represents the minimum quantity required for shipped orders. Items that are shipped must be purchased in multiples of the Ship Quantity. Sell Quantity represents the minimum quantity required for Will-Call orders. Items that are placed for Will-Call must be sold in multiples of the (Will-Call) Sell Quantity. Catalog Page Number When you click on the Catalog Page link, you ll see the product just as it appears in our printed catalog. Compare Alternates You can quickly compare alternate products on one page to see how they measure up in price and specifications. Just click on Compare Alternates for a complete listing (Not available for every product). Technical Specifications The Tech Specs tab contains important technical specifications about an item in a quick reference format. Additional Information Select this tab to view actual catalog product descriptions. Notes & Restrictions If a product contains hazardous materials, it is noted here. It is also noted if MSDS sheets or repair parts are available. MSDS Material Safety Data Sheets are available from this tab for all applicable items. Required Accessories Some products may require accessories to work or be installed properly. This tab lists these accessories so you can easily add them to your order. Optional Accessories Some products have optional items you may want to order for specific applications. This tab lists those products. Alternate Products Manufacturers often have multiple products that may work for the same application. Those products are listed here. Repair Parts Repair Parts are available from this tab for all applicable items. 7

9 Ordering Order Form Your Order Form is a descriptive breakdown of the items you are purchasing. You can easily add, alter or remove items from your Order Form before you check out. Account Default Fields Account Defaults allow you to select which fields will be required on each order to meet your company s specific Accounts Payable requirements for your account. To make any Account Default fields required, click on Your Account, select Account Administration, select Account Defaults, then check the appropriate boxes. Bulk Order Pad To enter large lists of items, click on the Bulk Order Pad link. There you will have the option to enter quantities and items one at a time or use the Copy & Paste function. You ll be able to copy lists from a purchasing system, spreadsheet, or word processing document and paste them into the Copy & Paste box. Product Availability Your Order Form shows general product availability. During the checkout process, you will see real-time availability for your order. Pricing Every Order Form shows customer-specific pricing at checkout when you are logged in. They are updated immediately if product prices change or go on sale. Promotion Code If you have a Promotion Code for a special offer, enter it in this box. Ordering Keep Track of Your Order Status Order Status Quickly and easily check the status of your online orders (and offline orders if you have the P.O. number) placed during the past months. You will also find a link to track orders shipped via UPS, FedEx and USPS. Sign in and click Order Status from the top navigation bar on any page at Grainger.com.
