3 The purpose of this document is to give a quick overview of LS Retail s Mobile solution, the LS Retail Mobile Loyalty solution, as part of the LS Retail NAV 7.1 release. The LS Retail Mobile Loyalty solution is available on the following platforms: Android Phones & Tablets, software version 2.3 and above Windows Phone 7 and 8 ios iphone & ipod, software version 6 and above Web Portal Classic phone website LS Retail provides a software app for each platform that can be downloaded, installed and used for demonstrating the features available in the LS Retail Mobile Loyalty solution. They all connect a central loyalty server hosted in the cloud by LS Retail and is populated with demo data. This server is currently not connected to LS Retail NAV. Chapter 1 - Introduction 3

4 The LS Retail Mobile Loyalty solution software apps can be downloaded from the LS Retail Partner Portal under LS Retail Mobile, or scan the QR code below with your smartphone. On this web page you can choose the LS Retail Loyalty software app from a list of supported platforms; Android, ios, and Windows 7/8. Click on a link from your smartphone to download and install the app. There is also a link to the loyalty web portal where you can view the loyalty web pages from your smartphone, classic phone or desktop machine. Each platform app has a different look/layout so evaluate the app on all platforms you have available. Chapter 2 - Installation 4

5 In order to use the LS Retail Mobile Loyalty solution you must create a new user account from either the Loyalty Web portal, or from the software app you installed on your smartphone. Android ios Windows 7/8 Web Portal Click on the Create account button Click on the Create account button Click on the create button (+) Click on the REGISTER link Once you have created the account you can explore the functionality which includes, but is not limited to the following features: Creating a new loyalty account Editing the loyalty account Logging in/out Viewing the current points balance Viewing the current loyalty tier (e.g. bronze, silver, gold), how many points are needed to advance to the next tier and which benefits that will bring. 7 The Mobile Loyalty solution is a part of the LS Retail NAV 7.1 release and an installation package can be downloaded from US/Default.aspx. Therefore the complete LS Retail Mobile Loyalty solution can be installed locally and connected with the local NAV server (see system requirements in section 4.1). The installation package includes: Installation guide SQL scripts to create an empty database, SQL Server database with the CRONUS demo data and ready for use WCF web service Web portal Android.apk app o The settings can be changed so it points to a locally installed web service (URL) In addition to LS Retail NAV 2013, the following software is required for the mobile loyalty solution. Operating system Window 7 /Windows 2008 / Windows 2012 Web server IIS 7 / IIS 7.5 Database server SQL Server 2008 / SQL Server 2012 SQL Server Express 2008/2012 with advanced services (full text search needed) LS Retail Data Director Used to keep NAV database tables in sync with the mobile loyalty sql server Chapter 4 - Local mobile loyalty solution installation 7
