2 Introduction Some of Klarna s products are based on credit and it is therefore important to inform customers of the details and terms of the purchase. This document shows how to collect and structure this information. Integration specifications With the tools that Klarna provides, all information related to a specific payment method can be received through a few simple functions. Klarna has multiple payment services and different information is required to be displayed to the customer. The methods used to obtain this information are: get_pclasses and calcmonthlycost. The following payment methods will be described: 1 Part Payment Flexible 2 Invoice pay in 14 days 2 Klarna.com

3 1. Part Payment Flexible The flexible part payment allows the customer to choose what amount they would like to pay each month. The image below illustrates how the information should be structured on the checkout page when offering this payment method in Germany. The logo should be loaded from Klarna s CDN as described here: gos D: Interest rate Sollzinssatz (variabel) The interest rate needs to be visible for the consumer when finalizing the purchase. The value is included in the response from the method get_pclasses in the data structure as value 5. The value returned is a percentage and should be complemented with a percentage symbol (%). E: Monthly account fee Ratenkaufgebühr An additional monthly account fee will be added on the customer monthly statement when selecting this method. 4 F: Monthly Pay Monatliche Mindestrate für diesen Einkauf The minimum amount the customer has to pay per month is calculated by Klarna s SDK function calcmonthlycost, requiring the following inputs: Amount Flag CHECKOUT_PAGE pclass identifier The monthly amount is an amount in the local currency and should be complemented with / Monat.
