2 Brakes BRAKESSWIVEL LOCKS SideLock Brake Cam activated brake eerts pressure on side of wheel hub for solid braking power. Large wing-shaped foot pedal is easily accessed, and brake can be locked from either end of the pedal for operator ease. A proven industrial brake design that locks wheel only. Swivel Locks He Head Brake Threaded bolt activates pressure directly to the side of the wheel when turned by wrench. Locking action is positive and secure for those applications where equipment must remain stationary for periods of time. This style brake is commonly used on Jarvis low profile Business Machine casters. To order add HHBRK to end of caster model. Thumb Screw Brake Threaded bolt activates pressure directly to the side of the wheel when turned by thumb pressure. Locking action is positive and secure for those applications where equipment must remain stationary for periods of time. This style brake is commonly used on Jarvis low profile Business Machine casters. To order add TSBRK to end of caster model. 9 Swivel Lock (Welded) Available on: 0 top plate casters (zinc, nickel plated & stainless steel) -Position swivel lock that is factory installed only. Hand operated plunger locks caster swivel in trailing position at 80 while wheel spins freely. Spring-loaded plunger mechanism is welded to top plate and features a clip that automatically locks in top of fork base when activated. To order as factory installed swivel caster option, add PSL to end of caster model number. Swivel Lock (Welded) Available on: Jarvis 8 casters. Designed for heavier loads and industrial applications, these -position swivel locks are welded to the bottom of the top plate and can convert swivel casters into rigid casters. The spring loaded plunger is hand operated and fits into notches cut in 90 intervals in the swivel raceway. Plunger locks out of way when not in use for free swiveling action. Factory installed only. To order as factory installed swivel lock, add SL to end of caster model number. Swivel Lock (Bolt-On) Available on: 7, 8 and S8 casters -Position, bolt-on swivel lock is installed as the caster is mounted on the equipment. A springloaded, hand-operated plunger is engaged to fit into slots on the swivel raceway at 90 intervals while wheel spins freely. To disengage, simply pull out on the plunger pull ring and twist and lock so that it will not contact the swivel raceway. The caster fork base must be equipped with notches for this swivel lock to function. To order, specify swivel lock part number 09-. For stainless steel swivel lock order part number 09-7.

3 Accessories Parts Swivel Grease Seals Swivel seals are designed to keep dirt and moisture out of the swivel raceway and lubricant in for easier swiveling and er caster life. They are recommended for equipment eposed to frequent washings or sterilization cycles in hospitals, food processing plants and bakeries. 4 Thread Guards Thread guards are designed to protect wheel bearings from thread and other floor debris that can bind wheels thereby creating flat spots.
