The course team is made up of specialist professional practitioners with a variety of academic and vocational backgrounds. This course is unique in combining vocational study and practice with theoretical underpinning in a manner that supports personal development. This course is seeking partnership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveying (RICS). On successful completion of this course you will be eligible for a professional career in property development and construction industry, either as a building surveyor or a management role in property development, management or operation. You will also have knowledge of sustainable technology and principles, which might lead you towards an abroad field in construction industry. You can also choose to progress onto our MPhil or PhD Sustainable Built Environments. overview A building surveyor specialises in the quality and maintenance of buildings, working in areas such as property trading, refurbishment or alteration, and resolving disputes between adjoining owners or landlord and tenant. This course covers a broad range of appropriate modules and the intellectual and practical skills in observation and analysis of building. However the skills are transferable to other surveying roles within the built environment.
