Strategic planning issues are presented in various sectors (luxury, energy, finance), together with analytical tools (situational analyses, market analyses, target analyses, etc.).
4 COURSE 2 Event Management Be able to apply a general event project management process for event management in a company. Know the characteristics of trade fairs and exhibitions in an international environment such as types, objectives, target groups, stakeholders and development. Be familiar with different aspects of strategic and operational management of internationally operating trade fair and exhibition businesses. Know additional service management aspects accompanying international trade fairs and exhibitions. Desire to know and understand Successful Event Management, a practical Handbook (Anton Shone and Bryn Parry) The Event Manager s Bible, How to Plan and Deliver an Event (Des Conway) This course provides a comprehensive overview of project management in the event industry in an international context addressing four major issues: culture, principles, management and techniques /tools used in international trade fair & exhibition management. The course reviews the general stages of a project in chronological order and describes how the stages interrelate. The elements of project management critical to the success of a project are also identified and explained. Real life hurdles of working in event management will be a prime focus of the course.
5 COURSE 3 Future Prospects of Marketing By the end of the course students will have mastered the concepts of behavioral targeting, how price, product, promotion and place may be affected by current marketing trends and what future threats and opportunities exist in the context of Marco-environmental constraints.
