This open design is available for single as well as for double desks. Large cable trays enable the installation of all components and of 19 racks that are connected to the CPUs located remote. The height adjustment and all ergonomical features are the same. Consequently the desk can be used as a standard or back office workstation.

13 page 13 slat wall desk type slat wall desk type With regard to the heat management and organisation of workflow a Dealing Desk with integrated slat wall offers various advantages in a Dealing Room. The slat wall between the monitors leads the hot air of the CPUs directly into the room by its chimney effect. In connection with a room air condinioning system in the false floor the slat wall provides the perfect solution. Additionally integrated fans support the active circulation. LCD holders can be attached to the slat wall without using any tools and create an ergonomical workcenter together with filing trays and lighting systems. 14 page 14 heat management The different kinds of convection Natural convection The hot air generated by the CPUs leaves the compartment through the perforated cable tray and through the inserted ventilation grill directly into the room. Ventilation sots in the doors enable a natural circulation of air without draught. Active convection Additional fans installed under the ventilation grill boost the natural convection. An additional slat wall leads the hot air more directed into the room by its chimney effect.
