2 Introduction Adlerac is a manufacturing division of Falcon Electronics (Pty) Ltd. Adlerac was established to manufacture industry leading Modem Racks, Wallboxes and Patch Panels for the computer networking industry. All 19 modem racks are made to conform to DIN4194 specifications (sections 1 through 5). The basic structure of the Adlerac is based on a tried and proven European design and modified to be more functional and user friendly. The adaptive design changes were made through careful research by our own technical department to suite most electronic and datatransmission applications. The large range of available options and accessories gives the Adlerac almost limitless variations in design and configuration. The large range of accessories and fittings for the Adlerac allows for the variety and diversity to match your ideas and requirements. In addition to technical detail and ongoing development the aesthetics of the Adlerac are unmatched in the South African market. We are also, due to our technical expertise in the field, able to assist customers with any special purpose racking and consoles, which will save you the effort and time required to meet your specifications efficiently Our production facility has the capability to manufacture leads to customer specification in small or large quantities. Each lead made is tested on our computerised test jigs and leaves the factory with a test proof. 3 Certification Adlerac is in constant pursuit of service excellence to this end the company firmly believes in offering clients quality products and peace of mind. To ensure consistently high service delivery the Company drafted and implemented a rigorous Quality Management System covering all aspects of the design & manufacturing process and customer interface. In order to ensure adherence to this QMS the Company proceeded to get listed as an ISO9002 manufacture with the SABS. Adlerac has for more than a decade maintained its ISO quality listing for its entire operation. 4 The Adler Gold Range The Gold Range from Adlerac is its most popular rack and is the stalwart in the range. This popular rack was designed to industry standard DIN41494 specifications (sections 1 through 4). Its frame is constructed from rigid light weight extruded aluminium and finished with stylish and distinctive detailing. This compact rack is extremely modular in design and thus offers customers freedom of installed equipment and exceptional ease of use. 8 The Adlerac Gold Wallbox The wallbox is constructed with a rigid aluminium frame and sheet metal panels. It has a toughened smoked and lockable glass door. The inside has adjustable punched profiles for easy storage of equipment of any size. This is by far the most attractive wallbox on the market and is ideal for installations where aesthetic appeal is a premium requirement. With standard sizes up to 20'U' and a useable depth of 450mm it can be a viable alternative to a free standing rack. The box is finished in high quality epoxy powder coating. 9 The Adlerac Steel Wallbox This box is fabricated entirely in sheet metal with a lockable glass door. This unit provides a low cost solution for installations where a free standing rack may not be the ideal solution. Punched profiles are adjustable for added flexibility. The range offers several useful variations including a choice of swing frame collars, removable side panels (on request) and steel doors and back panels (on request). The boxes are pre-treated and finished in epoxy powder coating. The standard colour supplied is goose grey. 10 The Adlerac VCR Rack The Adlerac VCR Rack was designed in response to the upsurge in the security market. These cabinet are especially designed for surveillance equipment and offers smart equipment support. The Racks are produced in the popular broadcast brown but additional colours are also available upon request. This popular rack conforms to the 19" TIA standard. Its frame is constructed from rigid light weight extruded aluminium. Standard with the rack is a circuit protected power supply with room for a UPS. Equipment is supported on four punched profiles and equipment support rails are used to hold the equipment. Since the equipment is required to run 24/7 shifts additional 6 way fans are recommended for adequate cooling. Adlerac Split Rack This is the ideal solution for all telecommunications rooms. This Adlerac cabinet is fitted to a telecoms wall and houses the interconnecting blocks for all telecommunications links from outside the building. Various telecoms panel options are available. 15 Adlerac Equipment Support Fans Fan Blower Unit High performance fans for that all to important cooling in todays high-tech equipment. - Cooling options are 2 way, 4 way and 6 way - Panels are colour coded to ordered rack. - Fans are easily replaced upon seizure. The Ideal solution for when cooling is needed closer to the equipment. This blower unit can be fitted to the 19" front of the cabinet and has a power switch fitted to the front of the unit.
